End of August isn't to far away. Might be a good idea to see about hotel deals. I'm planning on stay Saturday night.

It'll be a weekend thing so Friday or Saturday. If we have bad luck and get rained out on Friday, we should be able to do Saturday. That's what I'm currently working on. Since I cannot make August or September, it's going to be October. I'll try to make it early in October. I'll do my best. As far as temperature is concerned, we SHOULD be looking at 60s in the afternoon in October. Hopefully everyone has a jacket...

No disrespect SAL, 60 degrees on October where at LOL Florida.........Last October for my Daughter birthday it was about 39 degrees and the wind was hitting about 10 degrees....I lived in Chicago for the past 14 years of my life and I can only recall a 60 degree October once LOL.....By any means i am not trying to be negative all i am saying is for all those not from the area be prepared to be cold in October....have a coat and hat and gloves because after being outside for a while it gets cold at those low temperatures.....I think Saturday is better a lot of people work on Fridays ....it should defenetely be a weekend Saturday or Sunday.

For those in hotels communicate with other member or perhaps start a thread so you can stay at the same hotels and get discounts...hotels down here will work with you ....that way money can be saved .....

Yes, sorry, I meant Saturday or Sunday... No Friday... Friday night is just party night for anyone who's around the evening before...

As for the weather, I was getting my information from Google - I know that's not always the most accurate information (wherever they pull it from). I've only been to Chicago during the Winter - so my personal experience is limited...

Amen brother !!! You got that right that is why I was just trying to make people aware the weather here is very unpredictable....Usually rule of thumb if the weather man says is going to be cold and rainy ....it will be sunny and warm.....if the weather man says it will be sunny and warm be ready LOL ....have your umbrella and jacket....

I would here but only a few stingers up here, tried spreading the word about meeting not very much interest. Met one owner for the supercar Saturday in South Barrington earlier this month.
