Depending on the date I should be able to make it. I’m in NW Indiana, about 30-40 minutes outside of Chicago.

The wife says she is all for the trip (about 1500 miles and 12+ hours) if the date works out. October is probably better for us than November would be. Dates and reasonable lodging would make the decision one way or another.

My rule of thumb, after living just southwest of there my whole life, is to have the snow tires on by 11/12. First snow of the year usually hits about then. So, no later than October makes sense!

Consider the Canadian contingent just north of the border, and that Canadian Thanksgiving will be celebrated this year on October 8.
As the weather in Chicago is historically considerably nicer in early October than later, attendance and interest in road trips will be enhanced.
It's about 8 to 9 hrs from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to Chicago. A very doable road trip, as long as the weather holds up.
So yes, if Stingerfest-East can be organized to happen early October you will be seeing us there with a whole bunch of Canadians (presumably)...
