Would anyone like to suggest good places to hold the venue? Is October or November typically a rain-free month? I certainly don't want a rain-out. Maybe something outdoors with an indoor option nearby. Or, perhaps if it rains, it'll just be restaurants and bars so we can all get drunk and kill each other over which color is the fastest...

You want to stay away from October, around this time it starts getting cold and if winter creeps early it will be cold which is no fun.....I would say aim for end of August ideally or early September. FYI it does not rain much here in Chicago.......Let me know how i can help, i will promote the even here locally. I think Saturday would probably be a good day too so people that are traveling can come friday night or saturday morning.

If i can be of any help let me know...calling places or looking for a location let me know....FYI we should try to make this even late august or in september.......it starts getting cold around october and november is way to cold...it all depends on how early the winter colds come.....if i can be of any help let me know ....

I agree 100%, once you go to the end of september and october it gets cold.....especially the winds
