Oil leak from oil cooler/oil filter housing

How that part isn't covered on the 10y/100k powertrain warranty is a head scratcher.
Unfortunately we dont get that warranty in Canada. Its 5yrs/100km and I'm 6mths past that.

The first time I had that part replaced it was covered under the 5yrs/60k warranty. Which I'm past on the years now.

Finally did it today.

It was the gasket that is between the oil cooler and oil filter housing. Job is a pain, but you do not need to drain all of the engine oil or coolant as the manual says.

Having the front of the car up on ramps then just draining the oil filter housing no other oil will leak out. Then 2 hose clamps on the oil cooler lines stops the coolant from coming out. What you see in the pictures is whatever coolant was left in the cooler

Bro, did you have to drop the steering rack to get complete access to the cooler? Or do you go from the top?
