Winter Rim Setups

Fast Wheels have 6 new wheels that they do for Kia, with the Kia logo on them. I got them from the dealer I bought the car from
It would be interesting to see them in a little better light - even boosting the image it's difficult to really see the design pattern. Looks close to a Switch?

which one are those ??

Does anybody have this set of wheels installed on Stinger without any fitment issue? I know it's not hub centric, but just wondering if they will fit without an issue.

confused by your post, is it 5x108 or 5x114.3 ? and what are 40 72.62 0.00 for ?

I am confused as well about the bolt patterns. Sent an email to the shop to clarify.

40 is the offset and 72.62 is the hub bore. Assuming the bolt pattern is 5x114.3, would the rest of the spec be suitable?

5x114.3 is non negotiable, you want the right size.
72.62 is negotiable, you will just need a hug centrix ring adapter to go from 72.62mm to 67.1mm, I have a Canadian site for you if you want.

18x8 is good too but I am not sure about the offset, it all depend on the how the rim design is, I have seen many 18x80 with 35 offset so this is not far but again 5mm could not clear the break depending on the design.

what is your goal, winter rims ?

The wheels are listed with 2 bolt patterns because they're universal and are drilled for both patterns on the same wheel.

Chances are they will fit fine but like Gtecko said it depends heavily on the spoke design of each wheel. I don't think you'd have a problem but nobody can say for sure until they do a physical measurement or test fit them to an actual Stinger.

I'm running a +30mm offset which is only 5mm different from that on an 18x8 wheel and I can kick a field goal between my wheel and the brembos:

Appreciate the explanation. Maybe I should err on the side of caution with the new rims and go with a hub-centric set of wheels.

Yes, it's for winter rims.

Thanks!

I see. I looked them up at canadawheel and it was listed for Stinger. Maybe that doesn't guarantee whether it actually fit as you suggested until test fitted?

It was a tight fit at the front wheels, but if it fits, it fits!

Awesome!
It looks like they are almost in contact. Hope that doesn't mean any potential damage.
The wheels are turning fine... Crossing my finger that I don't have to fight against the dealership for that (they're the ones that recommended and sold me the wheels).

not sure what your budget is but you can find some fast wheel switch (for example) for 178.49 each (and they have 50bucks discount) on WheelWiz

Wow, that'd be perfect. I was looking for alternatives because my tire shop says the exact model in the colour I wanted were back logged. Really appreciate the info!

They are listed as fitting the Stinger on Touren's website, but I haven't tried it yet. PN is 3260-8803G

I've got a set of TR60s here, got them from Jegs for $112 each, going to put them on as soon as rubber arrives.
