Drag/Acceleration Kia Stinger 0-60 MPH Times

PR for 60 and 1/8 times. Used the e-brake launch method instead of launch control each time. Released around 2500 rpms or so and she gone!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Got the RaceChip dialed in. Hit the 4 second mark to 60 and let off just a hair early on the 1/4 because of the road. Could have been slightly better, but still impressive :D

You just pull up and hold the ebrake instead of the real brake to build rpm to launch. Ecu doesnt know the brake is on and lets you get more throttle, rpm and boost. But strength of ebrakes vary. Doesn't hold for me.

Could you explain e-brake trick please:)

I actually saw it in another thread, but I can’t remember which one it was. I want to say it was Kinvara that posted about it. (May be wrong on that)

Basically set up as if you would be using launch control (Sport mode, traction off, stability off.) Instead of holding the brake down, pull up on the e brake and hold it up. While holding it up, lightly press the gas and if the car stays put, continue towards 2500 rpm. When I hit 2500 or just short of it, I let go of the e brake and floor it at the same time.

Launch control holds the rpms right around 2250 and won’t go above that. You may be able to push beyond 2500 with this method, but mine wants to pull through the brakes at that point so I use that as a good spot for me.

If the e brake doesn’t hold you while lightly applying gas, let off the gas and slowly try again. You can’t do it quickly or it wants to pull through.

Felt like I had a lot of tire spin.

GT1 RWD, JB4, DYI intakes, Borla exhaust, used LC

So the burger brake switch mod is the real deal... Do it! First pass, didn't have room for much of a pull, but look at 0-60, 60' and 1/8 et even letting off. Barely held the launch to build boost either....oh and only on map 2! With cold air, map 5 or 7 and more practice there is 3.6 0-60 and 1.5x 60' in it. Car should be easy 11.6s no meth.

These were recent and using ecu tune enhanced LC, no snip.
