Drag/Acceleration Kia Stinger 0-60 MPH Times

Yes negative is down. On a 0-60 its so small its irrelevent and the slope on the dragy is fairly random.
Looks like i need the new tune. Have a switch and some 18 G wire available. Lol.
But will you use that wireo_O

LOL ive got a bunch of dragy slips with a bit over 1% downslope (not valid) and it makes all the difference in the world on my dragy slips....downslope is your friend .... :) Wash
I believe the draggy averages out the slope of the entire run, so the first 1/8 mile could be -5% then the last 1/8 +4% and that would give you -1%. That serious downslope at the beginning would definitely impact 0-60, but if it's only -1% for the entire run it'll be negligible. A lot of drag strips have negative slope, very common.

That is true. And for me 1% in the 0-60 is 17 inches total. And thats well outside the range of dragys accuracy. Just a guideline and have to have a cut off some where.
I've done back to back flat and +5% slope 0-60s and the times where almost identical.

Its far from being even close for me.....just a touch more than 1% downslope gives me 2/3tenth faster times :) Wash

Unless Dragy is doing something peculiar with this, a 1% slope over 60 feet is about a 7.25 inch rise.

EDIT: A 7.25 inch slope applies to a 60 FT time, not 0-60 MPH. Whoops ...

But I agree, precision altitudes on the GPS based Dragy are not their strong suit.

absolutely agree, even survey grade GPS equipment, which cost several thousands of dollars, can only measure vertical distance to an accuracy of around 2 inches. That's a static reading, not while moving at 60 mph. Any slope reading from a dragy is going to be laughably inaccurate.

... and my mistake on the slope calculation - I was thinking 0-60 FT, not the slope while traveling over the distance required to get to 60 MPH. Should have re-read the title, I guess ...

20 inches. 1.75 of a foot as i do 0-60 in about 175 feet.
You guys that take 230 feet get way more slope. :)

Yeah I was happy with it. It’s AWD
Wow that’s super impressive from a stock AWD Stinger.o_O That’s about 0.4sec faster than most and even on the quick side for RWD Stingers. Sure you aren’t secretly using the Burger burnout switch already?;)

Just some launch control with a little bit of shake, and a little bit of bake! Seriously though, I haven’t messed with it at all yet. Very soon though ;)

Very nice. If you can get traction you’ll be in the high 3s, or very low 4s at least.

Dragy now has a Kia section. Since pretty much all 0-60s are dragy we dont need another list? Still post here but the kia dragy history list will capture everyone. Be sure to post up. You can use the app to view without the device.

Ayeee I like it! My best so far.

Awd, Stillen CAI, Stillen Catback, RaceChip GTS on Race with 93 oct

Thought it would be interesting to see what kind of 0-60 I could get on map 5 in ECO mode. Only .3 seconds behind sport mode, probably because there was less wheel spin at take off.
