How To Convert Reverse lights to LED

Hmm, that's unfortunate. I'm not much of a fabricator, and when I work on stuff I usually break at least one thing. I feel confident doing some minor mods, but that's out of my comfort zone for sure. Thanks for the reply.
Best of both worlds, black vinyl or dark tint the entire middle section with a very slight tint to the rest to make it blend in well.

Ngl the old style I also likez but I been eyeing the rear hatch led spoiler bar. I just don't feel safe or visible in bad weather or night time with some of the people in my vicinity.

Depending on interior colour, I found Vivid Demon Black with its hint of red looks really good over all my piano black trim in my red leather interior on my Mazda3. Very similar to the Stinger red interior.

NM: wrong thread. Can't figure out how to delete a post!

Not a bad idea, and maybe I'll roll with that. I just love the '18-'21 taillight shapes. The new one is just so....generic.

Understandable. Be safe.

I got rear ended in broad daylight before. In white out conditions I pop my hazards on and just dip into some exit and into a gas station. Not worth people tailgating in that weather haha.

If you end up doing that, post pictures n tab me. Who knows I may end up trading you my 2019 ones for those haha.

I tried installing the VLEDS V6 Extreme reverse lights without luck. The heat sink contacts the trunk sheet metal before the center light bar can snap back in place.

Significant waste of time. The site actually lists them as fitting a ‘19 Stinger.

Seems like companies these days wait for a customer to do their R&D for them. Only having to issue a return at worst and not spending the time finding a donor car and trying themselves.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Sorry to hear, it's unfortunate that the bulbs were too long. I usually go with Diode Dynamics bulbs, but tried a popular Amazon bulb this time.

AUXITO 912 921 LED Bulb for Backup Reverse Light Bulbs, 2600 Lumens 4014 42-SMD, 6000K White, Non-Polarity 906 W16W T15 921 LED Bulb Direct Back Up Replacement Lamp, Pack of 2 https://a.co/d/doZvlzc

Fits and works great.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

A brighter non-LED option is the Osram Halostar Pro 35w gy6.35 HIRs: 860 lumens. 2900K, so a warmer color.

Output is considerably higher than many LED replacements.

Cheap and lots of good reviews on Amazon. Requires small amount of adjustment to pins.
