Any of these should fit from Amazon Canada. I believe you just need a 921 bulb.

thanks ! I get the Auxito a try !
My biggest concern was whether the bulbs would fit. Some appear substantially taller than stock. That is one of the reason I chose the Auxito bulbs; they definitely fit.

Just did the swap today

I only had a 3/8 10mm n the ratchet with 2 mini screw drivers.

So first I did the diode dynamics n imo It doesn't look as bright as their video showed. Better then halogen yes. But brightness n crisp not so much imo. It is what it is.

I know this is long by I visualize the stuff for you n walk you through it, because I don't have photos

So a couple tips, lower your trunk so your comfy. It doesn't matter what height it's at. Taking the panel out. If you care about a small imprint then go plastic route. I have two imprint of a small flat head. I jammed my smallest head in where there's the gap to pry n pushed back till a small opening. Then on the bottom side put another one in. I pushed that one down also. Afterward I stuck my fingers in and slowly pryed it out. No clips broken n only 2 small imprints on both sides.

Disconnect the harness. So the side without the identical bumps you squeeze hard on both n pull out.

Now I recommend a extension on the ratchet but its not needed. I have a extended 10mm head. You need one or the other. Lefty loose right tighty remember. Your gonna have to play around with 2 of the bolts for the sweet spot. I was sitting in my trunk backwards for one, outside leaning on the fender for another.

After that i will say lower the trunk till its horizontal but you can still be inside it. The three bolts where the nuts go on push them all both sides. Go outside n then simply pull without any force needed the light bar off.

Slit it if need be, I just peeled mine will replace later date its fine as is no big deal. Without peeling its nearly impossible to twist the bulb. Pliers would help but I didn't have any. Peel raise the wires for slack n twist then pull out. Twist left/counterclockwise.

Bulb itself pulls right out.

Now bulb in and reverse all the steps. Putting the light back needs some trial and error it is very semtrical with no margin of error. Play with it you will see on the sides of the tailights that black plastic its should be on the edges on both sides.

Now another tip if your bulb is too long n not enough slack. Right went in flawless left didn't have enough slack both peeled. I had dents n nooks in my new bulb. I lower the bulb inside but pushed it to one side n had a screw driver for extra safety to not drop it in, n put my cap on the bulb then press it down with screwdriver press up. Pull screw driver out n push it into place n twist.

Before bolting it up connect the harness n make sure both lights work.

If your alone, connect the harness close the tailgate, seat belt behind your back. Doors closed. Pop in reverse n put auto brake hold on then go check them out

I realize this sounds silly, but...this entire procedure is outlined in the owner's manual.

I can't believe they would have an owner take out such a fragile part to change a freaking bulb! The cover on my Sorento exposes the bulb holders themselves, it's a 30 second job to change out. I even checked the Stinger owners manual and, sure enough, that's the procedure.
um, apparently not. The owner's manual has you unbolt and pull off the entire light bar to get access to the reverse bulbs...

I did this and the time spent in replacing the factory bulbs to LED is SO worth it

I just did this on a '22. I took a few pics since I know the 22 has a different center section. The process was exactly the same. I used those shorter Lasfit 921 bulbs from Amazon and they went in without removing any of the rubber or anything to get the holder back in.

Looks good. I wonder why car companies put led tail lights and leave the license plate or reverse light bulbs incandescent.

No clue. Those were the last incandescent in the car. I checked, just the reverse and the turn were incandescent. I got the KDM tail lights and now replaced these.

All cars should just come with led lights all around.

Just did this upgrade. Easily the best $9 you can spend on the car.

This makes me curious, would it be possible to replace the '22 light bar with the older model? The complete fixture looks very similar. i'm going to be pulling the trigger on the '22 but I vastly prefer the older model tail lights.

I believe the screw holes are different. You may be able to do it. I think the 22 has more holes in the hatch, but that shouldn't hurt you too much.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. I'm not much of a fabricator, and when I work on stuff I usually break at least one thing. I feel confident doing some minor mods, but that's out of my comfort zone for sure. Thanks for the reply.

I think it uses the same holes, just fewer of them.

Also, if you are going to change the tail lights too, swapping the body-colored caps on those is fairly hard in terms of breaking things.
