yes... another f’n exhaust thread.

But I don’t care about (nor want any) discussions about drone, cost, tone, smell, whatever.

Just rank what’s out there from loudest to quietest.

This list is NOT in any order other than I believe Borla is the loudest so far.

Simply reorder as seen fit by those who’ve experienced these (and feel free to add to the list).

I don't know, my xforce exhaust open seemed noticeably louder than the ark with ark downpipes on the dyno, but not in a pleasant way. At least that's my perception, reving while stationary or during daily driving it is a different story.

Also, magnaflow should be much lower imo.

Here are the videos of the Ark and the Xforce on the same dyno, and recorded with the same device from approximately the same position. For all intents and purposes Ark is louder, I was just surprised when my friend dyno'd his car it didn't seem as loud. When I said the part about not in a good way, I think some of the frequencies are being cancelled out by the helmholtz resonator. As a result the noise at full throttle was less bearable. Listen to the following videos, there's a noticeable difference between the two.

So are you showing the catback and midpipe added 50 HP or did you add something else as well?

That is the dyno presented by kunstwerk. I confirmed the question of any other mods, they said NO just cat cack and secondary cat deletes. Hope this clears it up. I will confirm I love the sound in all forms but my favorite is with downpipes and open. The quality and craftsmanship, and fit were perfect.

JunBL EVC with the valves closed is louder than stock, not by much though.

I got the impression that the Ark Grip wasn't very loud, maybe just that it was just smoother sounding.

Edit: I take it back, I just read the thread on it, damn, that was my top pick, I guess the sound vids don't do it justice.

Assuming phone is calibrated, the phone was on armrest

Nice what app is that wish I had that before I had my pipe done even if it's not accurate to show before and after sound difference. Maybe my sales guy will let me take some samples of a GT2 on the lot to compare.

I went with Sound Meter ... i got 84ish on cold start going around the car, and lie the phone down near exhaust pipeas with a few revvs. But need a 2 man job so see if revving somewhere else will put it higher from outside the car

I just purchased the Kunstwerks mid-pipe and Racing EVC exhuast. I'll add some pictures and videos once I get it. Hopefully another week or so. Going on a parts buying binge at the moment lol.
