Were back guys and if you like this check out k8stingerstore.com
Because the led board connected to the wires will not go through were the reflector goes into. It's not a big open gap just a couple small opening
Message David in an email there and he will get it for you. I'm not sure whats going on with there site. I was hoping it would be up and running by now.Thank you for all this info. The wiring part was the most important as that's what I wanted to know. I may removed my bumper when I do my install. You said you purchased from K8 Stinger Store but I don't see it on their actual website.
Ahhh man I'm sorry.Fun stuffSadly (you guessed it) the swiss police would stop my car for non-allowed modification of car default lighting.
It does man. When you apply the breaks it stands out and that's what you want. Especially now a days with everyone on there phones. Need something bright to catch there attentionHow could they possible know if it's an aftermarket part or not. It retains the reflective capabilities of the OEM part, it is the OEM part modified, you are just adding an LED back panel. If anything you are improving the visibility of your car at night.![]()
I felt the same way before I did this. After doing it once I would do it again without hesitation. These are cool but the moment I mess with crimping of the electrical system I think I'm out. Electricity is just too unpredictable to know if what you've done for protection (from water, etc.) is going got be absolutely perfect enough for you not to have anything short out.
Unless there's some fool-proof backup (like an easy-to-replace connection somewhere before there), I'll probably be staying away from this.

Yeah it's one stupid hidden screw that is hard to see. Once you remove the screw out the screwdriver back into the hole the screw came out of and push it and it comes out pretty easy. Not sure how I feel about having yellow and red turn signal indicators.
Thanks for taking the time to put the video together. Looks like getting the reflector out is easier than I though it would be when I saw how it was mounted a few weeks ago.
Yeah I agree completely. I know if it have an issue I will open it back up a solder the wires properly. I'm hoping the tape keeps everything nice and secure. If it does come loose I'll let everyone know for sure to do a better secure way.Nice install. Really like it. Had done something similar to the Mrs juke nismo RS. As for the yellow and red combo, my land Rover discovery Discovery and the defender had the red yellow combo. Only thing I would do differently is not use those piggyback connectors. I would splice it I more securely. Never liked those connectors. Nice install sir. Thank you.
