So guys installed the intakes today along with intercooler and everything else will post video tonight when I get home from Texas Roadhouse .... it came out amazing
Where’s my f’n video?
Hello guys here it is LOL...
Watch and subscribe please...Have a minor issue that i jusr discovered will look into it tomorrow morning...when i close my hood the rubber pieces on top of the intake box dont let the hood sit flush....will play with it tomorrow to see if i can adjust...
Yes it does...The intake sound is louder that it was with just the DIY intakes...There were some people saying that plastic retains heat longer than aluminun and thats negative....drove for 4 hours straight yesterday and I was impresses when i popped the hood the intake tubes were cold-warm, not hot....and the intercooler ic piping was hot you could cook an egg on it...no heat soak at all from these intakes......and yes the setup is amazing..So does it sound different than before (since you already had aftermarket BOVs)?
It’s a nice setup!
Thats is correct I used the tips because I have aftermarket BOV and wanted to vent them to the atmosphere...Now i dont have to put those tips if i choose to recirculate the BOV with the oem hoses...The Turbo XS blow off valves that i have can be vented to the atmossphere or recirculated like oem its your choice....I personally choose to vent to atmosphere because its louder lolSorry for the noob question but the thing with the chair tips. Do you only do that if you have an aftermarket bov?
Hahahahah LOL you caught that ...... I was thinking of an analogy and that came up....but i figured the guys would know what i mean lol.......Great quote sir!!!“Like your cock, just have to wiggle it” hahahahaha
“Like your cock, just have to wiggle it” hahahahaha
I dont see the big deal lol....if it makes you feel better just take the rubber lining off and you dont have to put anything on. I would try installing yours...your could be fine....just my 2 cents...once it gets warmer i will take my time installing the should and the rubber lining but its fits fine FYI...You are more than welcome to contact agency power......i dont see a need to really contact them ....Dafuq. I'm not trying to put painted c clamps and foam in my engine bay.
Mine will be here Wednesday and they are going right back if this is the case. Did you call Agency and ask about the fitment issues?
Also, didn't know it makes a mostly full seal with the hood, seems the front opening would still be open to get some air. I wonder how that affects HP gains in comparison to other intakes!

I will take measurements of the AP filters for you and you can run the calculation lol
your hood closes flush?? so you didnt use the metal inserts and oem grommets? For me, I didnt use the metal inserts and grommets from the stock airbox. I found it gave me a bit of clearance that I needed and still is solid in there.
The only fitment ''issue' I had we're the recirc hoses. I think I can fix that by repositioning the angle of the pipes a bit. I'm about 1/4" too close on each side.
I have not i need to take measurements will do that tomorrow for you....i forgot sorryHey Angel, Did you end up taking the measurements of the AP filters in the end? Apologies if you already posted it and I missed it.
