Sorry for the noob question but the thing with the chair tips. Do you only do that if you have an aftermarket bov?

“Like your cock, just have to wiggle it” hahahahaha

So does it sound different than before (since you already had aftermarket BOVs)?

It’s a nice setup!
Yes it does...The intake sound is louder that it was with just the DIY intakes...There were some people saying that plastic retains heat longer than aluminun and thats negative....drove for 4 hours straight yesterday and I was impresses when i popped the hood the intake tubes were cold-warm, not hot....and the intercooler ic piping was hot you could cook an egg on it...no heat soak at all from these intakes......and yes the setup is amazing..

Thats is correct I used the tips because I have aftermarket BOV and wanted to vent them to the atmosphere...Now i dont have to put those tips if i choose to recirculate the BOV with the oem hoses...The Turbo XS blow off valves that i have can be vented to the atmossphere or recirculated like oem its your choice....I personally choose to vent to atmosphere because its louder lol

Hahahahah LOL you caught that ...... I was thinking of an analogy and that came up....but i figured the guys would know what i mean lol.......Great quote sir!!!

Hi everyone got the issue and fixed it....the hood would not close flush...watch the video i explain everything and did an easy fix for those that get the AP intake...

Dafuq. I'm not trying to put painted c clamps and foam in my engine bay. o_O

Mine will be here Wednesday and they are going right back if this is the case. Did you call Agency and ask about the fitment issues?

Also, didn't know it makes a mostly full seal with the hood, seems the front opening would still be open to get some air. I wonder how that affects HP gains in comparison to other intakes!

Also, didn't Nick install these with no clearance issues and make a guide? @NICK_KHAR

I dont see the big deal lol....if it makes you feel better just take the rubber lining off and you dont have to put anything on. I would try installing yours...your could be fine....just my 2 cents...once it gets warmer i will take my time installing the should and the rubber lining but its fits fine FYI...You are more than welcome to contact agency power......i dont see a need to really contact them ....

maybe the issue was just with me...my advice try installing on your own.....

For me, I didnt use the metal inserts and grommets from the stock airbox. I found it gave me a bit of clearance that I needed and still is solid in there.
The only fitment ''issue' I had we're the recirc hoses. I think I can fix that by repositioning the angle of the pipes a bit. I'm about 1/4" too close on each side.

 Man, definitely call Agency. There's no way I'd have that in my car with HVAC suction hose insulation and random Home Depot clamps. That foam stuff is the cheap version of the rubber insulation that is used to keep moisture out of interior walls--it will do nothing for heat shielding.

I'm sure Agency will help you get it installed correctly or adjust their kit, if that's what's needed.

I will take measurements of the AP filters for you and you can run the calculation lol

Hey Angel, Did you end up taking the measurements of the AP filters in the end? Apologies if you already posted it and I missed it.
