Can someone help me out? I have a 2022 Stinger GT2 and for some reason my remote doesn't open the windows. I figured I might as well try to find out why it doesn't open since it is a feature that the remote is supposed to do. Any info?
My GT doesn't do this, so Australia doesn't get it. Not complaining though. Won't need it on this car.
I can see it being useful for two reasons, quickly ventilating a hot parked car and conveniently entering a car that has frameless windows (our MINI JCW had this feature which made it easier to get in with windows fully wound down).
That app is SOOOO SLOWWWW.
Maybe my complaint is petty - but it just feels slow.
at least 30 seconds to do anything.
The first 5 seconds (minimum) is spend logging into the app (why doesn't it save the logging status). It does log in automatically, but nearly every other app would already be logged in upon opening.
Our 2007 BMW had it, it was nice on a hot summer day. However the key fob was a bad design as you could accidently open the trunk with the fob in your pocket, while eating in a restaurant, my wife's purse was in there. Oh boy....

^^Maybe something can be put together with ifttt? That's what I use to WOL some pc's on the lan verbally. It relies on a small web server on the back end that fires some ether-wake command on the respective vlan.
I still don't use evo, and use remote start mainly as a gimmick. I wouldn't want such functionality. Alexa or google might be on the rag and start the car unbeknownst to you, letting it run over night.
K8 stinger store sells a CANBUS controller module that has features to remotely open/close the sunroof along with other stuff. Lots of wires to route and tap into though. Doesn't seem to do the windows either.
This brand new, revolutionary, Canbus Control Module for the 2018-2023 Kia Stinger is a complete game changer. Featuring a built-in remote starter (using the OEM remote) proximity locking & unlocking, turbo timer & a bunch more cool features to name a few. We offer free USPS Priority Shipping...
