Just want to hear anyone’s suggestion on replacement pads on the Brembo Calipers. Thanks.
Interesting okay I’ll check into them. Got a link with a good price by any chance? It's been 3 days since I swapped out the stock pads for Powerstop Z26 Street Warrior pads (all wheels)
They stop the car very well they do not pulse like stock pads.
So far I'd recommend them... Even though I haven't had them for long. I dare say... They shoot at the walls of heartache...![]()
They’re a little bit pricier than the reds. I might o with those next.Ive had a year and 35k miles on my EBC Yellowstuff pads, and they don't vibrate, they feel linear, and they grip like a son of a B***h
I’ve also heard good things about BoschBosch Quietcast Ceramic. BC1001 and BC2144
The only downside is that they squeak a little when wet, but then again most performance pads do.They’re a little bit pricier than the reds. I might o with those next.
Except Kia dident put premium brakes on the car (at least in the USA) they put a premium piston system on and then cheaped out on the pads. Every single Pad offered for the Stinger is an improvement over the OEM ones in at least one if not multiple ways. If they where not, nobody would be buying them. (not to mention the testing has been done on here and results have been shown and proven)Well. I would be ,,,putting the original pads in. Why? Because Kia put Bembro Brakes on it which you paid for. Tested at Nuremburg then offered a warranty........
I read a lot about after market changes to make cars better then I read about all the problems owners have.
I sorta figure that when they build the car they do a pretty good job at sorting out the suspension, the exhaust, the performance and that's what you are paying for.
If the parts were crap they wouldn't want to offer the warranty. In the case of Australia, 7 years unlimited kms.
Yes I get wear and tear brake pads not included but premature failure IS included.
I would stick with the original stuff. Kia put the premium brakes on the car................
I don't recommend that you base your decisions on a manufacturers implication of quality based on offering a warranty. Further, brake pads aren't covered under warranty.Well. Yes, I would usually agree but in this particular instance I’ve personally seen a lot of stinger gt owners reporting warping of the rotors due to the oem pads.Well. No, but if they’re in the price range I’ll try them out too. Haven’t heard much about them tbh.Is anyone else using these?

The form is aware that the Australian and European cars got actually decent breaks from the factory, so considering how you talk about it in kilometers per hour instead of miles per hour, it makes me think that you are in one of those two parts of the world.
They were pushing it here in the late 60's. So...Eventually I expect the USA will convert to metric.
