I just installed the Shark Racing proximity door module on my Stinger 2.0L. The RHD's wiring is totally different from LHD. The fuse box is located on the driver side (right side) and the B-CAN connector is on the passenger side (left side). So I have to extend the wiring to the fuse box side. Anyway, the module works but not as it should. It locks when I move away from the car, after about 5secs, but it does not unlock when I approach it, it locks it again instead (I can hear the locking mechanism). My Stinger do have the power windows and welcome lights enabled. I found out that if I lock the car manually, the next time I approach it, it will auto unlock. I emailed the sharkracing support, but knowing they provide little help, I can only seek advice from the follow Stingers. Please drop me a PM or reply to this post. Thank you.Hey Guys,
Wonder if any can help.
I purchased both the ISG (Idle Stop and Go) and the Proximity modules for my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Of course, neither came with install instructions. After several emails Shark racing sent me the install instructions.
The ISG (Idle Stop and Go) module works perfectly. However, the proximity module only locks the car. When I approach the car, the approach lighting turns on and nothing else happens? I reached out to Shark racing a couple of times and they have not responded. I don't know if I have a defective module or of there is something incorrect with the wiring?
I know this is a stinger forum, but has anyone had any similar issues with the proximity door module and have figured out what the issue was?
I know this is a long shot -but thanks in advance....
Steve
More information on my findings. Onboard, there are 2 LEDs which are lit when it's working. After the key fob is away from the car, it automatically locks and after a while more, one of the LEDs goes off the other remains lit. Not sure whether it's supposed to behave like this. Yes there’s a short delay when you turn the car on before it puts the car in your preferred setting for ISG. Not sure about the auto hold one, I didn‘t connect that one. I prefer that to automatically turn off since I don’t use that feature as much.Quick question for those who have installed ISG (Idle Stop and Go)/AUTO HOLD memory module.
I just installed the module today but I haven't had a chance to test it thoroughly. Is there a slight delay to the module activating?

It is highly recommended to remove the negative terminal from your battery before you start.
1. Follow steps 5-7 from this link to remove the cowl trim(Right of dead pedal)
2. Follow steps in this link to remove lower crash pad(Fuse Box Area)
2a. if you do not want to remove this panel, order micro2 add-a-circuit(I bought one from local auto parts store) & 18-22awg ring terminal.
3. Tab into power and ground according to installation doc. Power should be gray wire, ground should be black.

3a. If you opted to go with option 2a, remove a constant 12v fuse(Power Lock fuse) and tap in. Use the ring terminal on ground wire to ground it to frame screw.
4. Refer to your install doc to locate blue MF11 connector. Remove the black cover to gain access to wires. Red wire from module connects to the top and blue wire on the bottom.

5. Reconnect the negative on the battery.
6. There should be 2 led's lit on the module. Test functionality.
7. Install trim back in reverse order and done!
Make sure your "Welcome" setting is enabled in dash for this to function properly.
Another observation made. I did a few time taking of the 2 LEDs, the one that went off after a while, takes about 50secs. Within that 50secs, the module is able to unlock the car automatically. After that (meaning once the LED went off), the auto unlock does not work anymore, it just locks the car again. Emailed the support a couple of times, no replies as yet.More information on my findings. Onboard, there are 2 LEDs which are lit when it's working. My suggestion is not to get the module at all. Simply not worth the price for something that does not as it claims and the hassle of trying to get support on it. To make it worse, now 2 of my CAN wires are spliced.
Sorry for confusing you. I meant that if I were to come around within a minute after the car locks itself, it will unlock automatically. If I were to come back after a minute, the car re-locks again instead of unlocking. It's not working as it should, at least not 100% of it.so you saying that you are standing next to the car for almost a minute before it unlocks it self? that totally beats the purpose of this module...

No it does not.
That does not sound right. Did you buy it from SR? Contact them to get it replaced. They are fairly quick to respond.Sorry for confusing you. Yeap, I bought from them through their website. They were responsive initially but once I started to ask them on how to install on a RHD, they became less responsive and did not provide any form of help on the installation. I took a risk and check with a local audio installer (since they are good at wirings and stuffs) to install on my car. After I found out it's not working as it should, I tried emailing them multiple times (about every alternate days) but no response till now, since 21 Oct.Sorry I haven't been around the forum for a long while. I didn't know you guys will be still active on this group buy.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't spoken to Sam at SR in a while. I have been away from the Stinger scene for a while, so not sure how things are. He was very helpful and responsive when I was doing the GB. Good luck, I hope you get it sorted out.Yeap, I bought from them through their website.
