What did you do to your Stinger in Australia today?

Have you guys had a chance to do the " launch control in your Stingers ? " I 'm guessing you need a quiet open road to go for it ?

Launch Control!, who needs that it’s a daily occurrence in peak hour just getting away from the traffic at the lights every fifty metres...lol

Actually according to another enthusiast your reaction times are quicker than launch control when ur in sport mode. Try it, compare the two, I have and I’m quicker than launch control and I don’t have a time limit like the launch control does. If you were just timing the run no lights or dragging then yes launch may be better. Find a quiet road and do it but if you just bought your car be sure it’s done 1000km before you do.

yep, I do that too, tend to burn off at the lights. Its so easy in the Kia's, they have fast acceleration .
Which was why the "Apex Gang" around Melbourne who do car jackings were using Kia's as get away cars.

Totally agree, this thing smokes everything off the lights, I love seeing the looks on guys faces at the next set of lights when they realise your just playing with them.

I was inspired by @TwiceStung wrapping hood vents so tried the same today. It's by no means perfect and I'm 50/50 whether to keep it or return to original. Looking for opinions please.

I still like them and it looks like you did at least as good, maybe better than me. I think it depends on the color of car. The place I took Christine to yesterday to wrap the roof really liked mine. Decent result for a first effort. I may re-do them since the edges are a bit rough on one of them from the knifeless tape moving on me. It actually makes the vents look a little less fake. My theme is black and silver so it worked well with silky silver and the matching silver vinyl I used to cover the rear side reflectors.

I’m probably about 60/40 yes. If you could wrap that chrome spine I reckon it would go to 70/30.

On silver it looks good but the white just doesn’t pop as much. What about a brushed metal skin? Paint the centre line bit black and have the same wrap but in brushed metal.
