What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Is that paint missing or a trick of the light? If paint is gone then what did it was heavy, pointed and metallic. Looks from the pic like someone walked by with a ball peen hammer. Do you have enemies?

Just the light... no paint chip, very pointy tho?

Given 98 fuel is $2.85 L here at the moment i tried an economy run because i was bored...

73km's 6.8L/100km's @ 110km/hr NO pedal controller and in ECO mode 14psi 306rwkw's
Same distance heavier traffic 6.4L/100km's @95km/hr NO Pedal controller and in SPORTS mode 16psi 325rwkw's

No point doing an e85 test lol

Just having the peadal controller on and the consumption goes up at least 10% whether it's on 1 or 9

Prepped my summer wheels for refitting now spring has sprung. Over the winter they've had a full decon, polish and ceramic coat.

All re-inflated to spec and 2 coats of tire shine now so they'll be going back on tomorrow and probably stay clean for all of 5 minutes. The winters will then get a detail ready for storage.

Wanted to post this for April Fools but forgot

So I was reading about dry sumps.

And thought I'd try it out.

Emptied all my oil, started her up and went for just a small drive.

Hit the fast pedal and then the most loudest pop's n bangs I've ever heard.

I've refilled her with oil as obviously I've done something wrong and the noise has stopped a fair bit.

But it's still there.

Just a bit more quiet... anyone else run a dry sump?

Have I done something wrong??

How do I undo this if I've done something wrong???

In the process of updating my software version on my -23 GT2 to the latest version via USB. I pay for the ultimate service package which should do this OTA for me but I can't seem to get it to work.

I ended up downloading the update via laptop and then transferred it to a thumb drive (44GB) and it's updating now.





For the USA cars, it is the April 2026 version

I just got back from updating the navigation on my 2018 GT1. It uses the onboard SD card. Drove around for less than half an hour and it was done.

Wifeys Cerato has an SD slot for Maps and Navigation, thanks for reminding me we need to upgrade those.

Fitted stock Intercooler and charge pipes today.

This car does not feel any slower at all !!

Starting to wonder about all these so called "mods"















Next up stock cats / dump pipes and exhaust but that can wait till Thursday.

So, after, what a month?, you are getting rid of your stubby/loud down-facing exhaust tips?

Mods aren't all for blatant performance. Some like a larger intercooler are for sustained performance - to keep things from breaking.
