What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I'm keen to buy your stockos if you freight them over here to me ?

At my expense of course..

I should be able to fit 17" drag radials on your stock brakes from memory.

On the fronts definitely and maybe even 15" with the correct rear offset...

So much to finish with this thing .. 9sec 1/4s would be good !!

I can't direct message you, your blocking me I guess?

WOW, indeed. I had heard of this expedient being done on the forum - that would be some time back. But it never came with pics. Ha hah. I asked my mechanic if he could "bend the backing plates out of the way", and he looked into it and confessed defeat. Ima sure his professional aesthetics would not allow himself to tackle the job this way. And he finished up by saying, "Just get the right parts. You will be happy down the road and it will look so much better." So, that is what Ima doing.

What I see are your black drip rails, like mine. I went with bare rubber, and I put on tire shine. What made you replace yours? And are they bare or painted?
i replaced my factory white ones because i have a stormtrooper theme going on with my car and these drip rails come brand new factory painted in ABP and are right up my alley. i swapped my door handles and shark antenna cover to black as well.

Thanks for slapping my "little gray cells" awake. Ha hah. We went through this already almost a year ago.

The reason why I ended up not getting prepainted gloss black is because of the weathering/cracking that happens and I didn't want to face that again.

Sold my Carbon bonnet... no mucking around, paid what i asked and he is very happy.

Now i need to cut my original bonnet and fit the pro stock scoop.

Ordered a pcv valve for the missus Cerato GT and for mine just because...

Nothing exciting to report.
Yesterday was a sunny spring day here in Ottawa, Ont (Canada), with the temp finally going up a bit to 13C.
I was just really happy to get the car out of the garage and drive around a bit.
My new sequential turn signal tail lights are awesome. Working great.
Our winter this year has been brutal, and the Stinger has been patiently waiting in the garage for spring.
Today? Rain all day again, and cold. It's a massive one degree Celsius right now. So depressing. Aarrrggghhh.

This is fascinating and mysterious, how winter pounded the east/northeast, and over here in the Rocky Mountain valleys we hardly saw a snowflake all winter. We set record high temperatures every month, and so far it is the driest water year on record.

Finally finished my Brembo brakes upgrade on our 2019 Premium. The rear brakes are a total beeotch to swap out.

Total labor was $924.02, and only $225 of that was for putting on the front Brembo brakes and Detroit Axle rotors, the rest was for the kick your butt rear brakes, which required removal of the wheel bearings and e-brakes in order to get the OE backing plates off, then put everything back together with the Brembo brakes and Detroit Axle rotors. Total cost for the job, $1,949.04.

No idea I've never driven with them on ?

Always someone on the internet with an opinion whether it is educated or not.

Prepping the wife's car for sale as I am looking at a Hyundai Kona N Line and BAM 2 massive dents in the roof and she has no idea how it happened or when 🤔
If it was my car I would have lost my shit !!

Actually given the proximity I'm certain it would have smashed the sunroof.

Is that paint missing or a trick of the light? If paint is gone then what did it was heavy, pointed and metallic. Looks from the pic like someone walked by with a ball peen hammer. Do you have enemies?

You must be a wizard. I have never seen over c. 350 range
I don't get anywhere near the kind of mileage. You must be the mileage whisperer.
Just returned from a ~185 mile trip. Diluted my E30 with 93 and watched mileage creep up from about 25 to 28 while cruising 80-85mph in Smart mode.

On the way home, topped off with 93, but hadn't been through a full tank so still had some E85. Averaging low 80s, I averaged 28.5mpg. I'm sure at 70-75 or with no E85 I'd hit 29-30mpg.

it appears the calculation is not using expected MPG based on driving mode but some other MPG calculation
Around down getting ~21-24mpg but averaging ~20mpg/tank (warmups, short trips, idling), my car typically shows ~310-325 estimated miles after fill-up. But after my 28.5mpg trip, it showed me 375-380 when I refilled.

(Can't post picture due to forum's aggressive feature disabling, but 4.2 miles after filling up, averaging 25.1mpg, I have 374 miles remaining).
