My Brembo brake upgrade on our 2.0L Premium is half done. We still have the rear factory brakes, because KIA for some stupid reason put a lip or flange on the back plate that wraps over the edge of the rotor. The front back plate is fine, it doesn't have the flange. Now I have to order new rear back plate assemblies, and they are over a hundred bucks if you go through the dealer. But when I tried to order through Kia Parts Now, they said they have an ETA to their dealership of 7 April. Ima willing to pay full OEM prices if it means I can go to the KIA parts department and order them myself, and get them in a day or so. Going to try that tomorrow, but my hope is pretty meager.
The 18" OE wheel barely clears the caliper! I didn't think it would be that close.

Kia Parts Now informed me that their ETA to receive the rear back plates assembly is 7 April. Then, they ship to me. Bleh. I cancelled the order.
Then I went to J. Seiner KIA to check on their ordering timeline. Good thing I did too. Because Kia Parts Now does not list their part numbers with enough information, or they even have the wrong information. He looked up both part numbers I had ordered and discovered that the one for the left/driver side is WRONG. It is designed to fit a 17" wheel. WTH?! If I had sighed and resigned myself to waiting on them, by c. the middle of April I'd have the wrong danged part.
Instead, now I get my rear back plate assemblies by next Friday, or "worst case scenario", he said, Monday the 30th.
I am done trying to order from Kia Parts Now. This is twice that they have made me order the wrong part. Last time they sent me a Ceramic Silver drip rail instead of two unpainted ones. I did not get reimbursed the shipping to return it to them. And now this crap. I'll gladly pay full MSRP in order to get guaranteed correct fitment. Amen.
