What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

My mind rests comfortably at 100% knowing I don't have to press that little button :)

a 1k resistor (free because i already had some ... otherwise, a few cents) will do the same thing. no cutting, splicing, or soldering required - you just push it in to the connector under the button. first thing i did to my Stinger when i got it over two years ago.

So in my approximately 2-and-change years of ownership this was only the 2nd snow day. 1st one I was running PS4S's so i stayed at home. This morning I went out for coffee and I am running DSW06+'s. Even though there was a scant 1/2" of snow on the pavement (don't laugh, that's enough to overwhelm both of the metro area's snow plows), she stayed planted and handled quite well. No fun stuff, but just getting through the snow and dodging the SUV owners who think their vehicles make them invincible in inclement weather.

In my opinion, that's more than enough reason for those who don't live in an area which might require dedicated snow tires to consider those (or an equivalent set of) all-season tires.

Tested out coast mode when in economy you could fell the transmission disconnect and see the rpm drop it did want to get away from you down hill once you touched the brakes it reinguages turned this coast mode feature off not the best for local travel and I'm hardly ever in ECO mode anyway

and I'm hardly ever in ECO mode anyway
I used to say that. For the first few years I was usually in Custom, with engine set to Eco and the rest Sport. Then I guess I got less "sporty" and figured, go Eco all the way why not. When I mash the gas pedal it isn't in any way economical and the car responds the same regardless of drive mode. But the rest of the time why not try for some hypermiling? And that's Eco.

My Unichip is loaded into Eco as it holds that mode when you turn the car off where as Sports does not and back when I had MIL'S every day because of my catless dump pipes I got sick of having to clear it first to get full powaaahhh back...

I wish...

Haven't done it yet (waiting for my next oil change), but a huge thank you goes to my wife for an awesome birthday gift!

I did the spark plugs on the Stinger. Denso one step colder plugs bought from the forum store. This tool I bought on Amazon made it so easy to do. It took me maybe an hour.

Just a little play on words I came up with that had some Korean influence. “So you mad” condensed down with Soju. :sneaky:
