Drag/Acceleration Weight of the worlds fastest Stinger....

150 LBS Im not a big guy 5'-7" correction look at the fuel gauge I had a little over 12 out of 16 gallons in the tank.
That's pretty light - 3923. Any mods?

I'm curious how much weight can be removed from our cars with the easier stuff, seats, mats, spare, etc.

Anyone with access to a scale want to help us out? :)

Just weighed some stuff this morning. Races aren't until Sunday but I got bored.
  • Spare tire and accessories 55lbs. (40 for the spare and jack, 15 for the 2 covers and deck lid) Spare slightly lighter than I expected and the covers heavier than I expected.
  • Full Rear seat 60 lbs. (15 bench, 15 for the small back and 30 for the large back).
115lbs so far. That gets a GT1 or GT2 down to about a GT weight.

I didn't pull the rear bench yet but its only about 10 lbs max.
Good info! I guess the covers are that heavy to dampen the road noise. Surprised the rear seat are that light. I wonder how much the front passenger seat weighs.

Rear bench is 15 lbs, so 60lbs for the entire back seat. That front passenger seat has to be 75 lbs plus any takers on weighing? :)

I changed my suspension to coilovers and I weighed both on a scale. =>> weight reduced by 7.4kg (or 15.9lbs).
That was not the purpose of the mod but if its lighter why not. :)

Transfer station. I just had a few florescent light bulbs so a free weigh in. I'd be curious to see what the difference is between GT1 and GT2.
Tonkabob just wondering how the stage 2 looked on the Dyno and if you got it on the Dyno for a run :) as I am thinking of either stage 1 or stage 2 when released he he

Haven't been on the dyno yet but hit the track this week and ran an 11.89 with just the tune, intake, fmic and catback.

Darn it that works great just curious on how it runs on 93 pump fuel as my car is my DD

I have 92 here in Wa. Stage 1 is 18 psi and works on 92 octane. Stage 2 is still in testing and mine is currently at 22.5 psi which works on E15 (4:1 92 pure gas and e85). Or 92 and some octane booster works. Not sure what he'll settle on for stage 2 but I'm sure you can request a 93 octane tune maybe 19 or 19.5 psi.

with 22.5 psi do you expect over 550 whp?

:)?
Yes Tonkabob, that would be great 19 to 19.5 psi tune that would run off 93 or 94 octane levels:) just thinking that even stage 1 would run better and more efficient than my piggy back chip right now ,as the the power curve would much more smoother and run higher up the RPM range :)

I have no idea. Its a big AWD GT2 and best track is 11.86. It does launch better than most, often hitting 1.83 60 foots. Highest track trap I've seen 118 and cool no heat soak dragy trap of 120 mph. The hottest piggy back tunes are also in the 21-22 psi range so i suspect the hp is about the same, 450 ish whp.

My piggy back most likely hits 17 to 18 psi as I only got 356 at the wheels and torque run around 500 lbs running of 94 Chevron with some octane boost:(

A friend of mine is running 23psi on the stock turbos and his car does 570whp on the dyno.

Wow 570 whp , 23 psi boost that is a lot of pressure if those turbos only handle 25 psi Max I wonder then what his torque values are , please ask him if possible:) thx In advance he he :)
