Undercarriage protector???

Well your transmission pan is pretty open without the 2nd cover
like with water hitting it?

And weather attrition. And probably aerodynamics, should you ever go fast enough to find out that the stability is compromised.
ive gone 145 without the two on there and everything seemed fine lol. i speed alot and everything seems prettty ok rn

If you have the 3.3 it should fit.

Hello,

This 2019 stinger part came down today after I went over a slight dip in the road. Can anyone tell me what it's called and if it is expensive to replace? It feels like a particle board-like material. We had to cut it away to drive it, but I'm worried about what it does. Is it a water protector?

Something happened to mine. 29110J5100 Genuine Hyunda/kia parts. ITS A PAIN IN THE ASS TO FIND!!! I've been looking for 3 mo.

Mine flipped down while I was on the highway today. The sound scared me half to death. Was held on by zip ties. Guess that was part of their "Certified pre-owned inspection". I expect a battle at the dealership once they get back to me. Just got the car last month.
That seems to be OEM these days for KIA. My dealership cross threaded something and same thing happened to me on both front and rear shield. Two different times they've put it back together after an oil change with zip ties. Now they're telling me the center bolt that where the two shields meet is messed up and said I must have hit something. They're saying I need to get a body shop to look at straightening it out. Makes no sense. Just left dealership so haven't been able to get under and look yet.

Looks like still no aftermarket replacements?

$70 for the sheet from Menards. And one afternoon under the car.
Damn, thought you were gonna start building them for us all. Hahahaha!

Thanks for the info

Mine also folded under last week. I drove slowly through a shallow puddle, but it was enough to scoop up water and drag down.

I think the Stinger front fenders/bumpers are very plasticky (maybe all cars are these days) so rubbing over any curbs deforms them and the snaps fall out. Over time we lose more and more until the splash shield hangs low and catches air/water. Seems like the design of where it attached could be better.

Mine is zip tied along the front just for this reason that wat it's secure

I've driven through two snowy winters, both times I've lost several of those push plugs that hold the protector in place and had to by generic replacement plugs off amazon. Guess it wasn't part of their Nürburgring testing. XD
