I think this first one will probably just be on a Sunday. There's just not enough time to get a two day event together before it gets too cold for everyone. There will be another in a few months at a different location. For Chicago next year, we'll do a Saturday and Sunday event.

Okay, so Chicagoland Speedway is a BBIIGG place. And we'd need to rent it for a full day.

What's a good way to get a good/solid idea how many people will be going? We're also going to need to get vendors on board to offset costs. There's also going to be a cost per person as Chicagoland Speedway isn't going to let us rent the place for a day for free.

So let's get serious and figure out how we're going to proceed. Once we have an idea how many people are going - THEN we can figure out how many vendors will be interested - and move from there.

I also need a show of hands to see if KIA will be interested in sponsoring the event in some way. But right here saying "I'm going" isn't going to be good enough. So how shall we handle this? I guess I'll make a new thread with replies ONLY to say you can make it at one point or another in October...

If everyone wants this to happen - PLEASE spread the word about this event on ALL your SOCIAL MEDIA. We need at least 100 people for KIA to get involved - and this needs to happen QUICKLY. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. Make a video plea on YouTube. Whatever... Just do it...
