Thanks so much for that, extremely helpful! Strange that for right under seats sub they would use blue as positive and red as negative haha... Found a video that had it the other way round - I'm from NZ so is crutchfeild usually pretty reliable?

Yes crutchfield is the biggest car audio reseller in North America. I have personally used their install guides and purchased products from them for 20+ years. They don't always send the proper speaker adapters, but that's a different topic.
