I always considered Virginia as being the moat northern “Southern” state. Richmond, Va is definitely a southern city in my book.

Thats right, Virginia is a southern state!

The commonly used definition & majority of regional maps include North Carolina as the most northern state in the SE.

When, and any ideas where? If within driving distance from Bay Area, I might consider it. Vegas is the furthest I'd probably go - ~8 hours..

Judging by the current votes which all seem pretty even the fairest thing to do is meet in Central USA which seems to be the most logical as then the travel distance for all I would assume be approx. the same whether you are coming from the North, South, East or West.

1250 miles (2000km) each way for me to get there...yeah, no! That's a bit excessive...sadly

Nope! Drove her to the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina last spring. And I'm taking her to the Tail of the Dragon next weekend! It's a warmup on my new summer wheels and tires, sways and endlinks for the Stingerfest in St. Louis the end of the month.

Heh! Miss it by a week. I roll from UT on the 19th and arrive in Atlanta on the 21st, and the family "stuff" is done by the 26th. I don't see me hanging around in the East, or dawdling my way back across the 48 in order to be in the neighborhood on the 30th. But, I wouldn't say it's impossible ...

Jeez Louise you guys: we live in North America: the distances are in hours not miles. Just punch it! You're all in STINGERS ferpetesakes! How long can it take to get somewhere??

If @Stinger GT SS is okay with a central location it should be good enough. After all, he's got the furthest to go!

Well, I've done 1,000 miles one way for a Stinger meet. I think others are capable - end of August or in the future!

Here I am looking/researching, still in Atlanta. Location - StingerFest I dunno. Friday is a long ways off. Salt Lake City is closer than Friday! I'm with family and could hang out here till Thursday and be ready for Friday first thing in the morning: if this thing will have anybody there who simply enjoys gawking and jawing for a couple of hours, or maybe more. If I were in St Louis on this Friday morning, would anybody else be there? This event is mainly geared for modified Stingers. But any Stinger is already a "modified Kia". So we share that in common.

I'm not sure yet exactly when I'll be there on Friday. It won't be the morning, I don't think. But I've not looked closely at the list of events yet, either.
