Four-day getaway with my daughter for her 21st, went up to enjoy of the best roads in the country. I am part of a motorcycle community (FZ1) and we have an annual rally in that area, but I wanted her to experience the roads and the social aspect of it, so we went in the Stinger. She drove most of the time - she's extremely competent - wanted a Skip Barber racing school for her birthday but they've shut down in Atlanta. We might end up doing an open wheel school together at Laguna Seca instead.

She's also a keen photographer so we took a ton of pics - these are mostly mine from similar locations/angles. Just wanted to share.

Also - if you want to see my Stinger "in action" on the Dragon, you can look on killboy.com under 'Cars (Sporty)' at 1:47, 1:52, 4:04, 4:11, and on 129photos.com under 'Cars and Trucks' at 1:50, 1:56, 4:12 - Friday Jun 7.

Fontana dam is the tallest on the East Coast.
Tallulah Gorge is a 1,000-foot chasm and was as popular as Niagara Falls at the turn of the 20th century.

It's fun but there are hundreds of miles of equally enjoyable roads in this region, many with views like the last pic in my first post.

Nice!
And the quality time with your daughter... priceless!

Nice! Wife and I went to that area as we toured some of the mountains of TN and NC. Those roads with a pinch of aggressiveness can be hard work. LOL Amazing how so many people hustle on those roads, even with trucks. Where is that last picture of the first set taken? Gorgeous view!

Nope. I'm not getting anywhere. How do I find your Stinger on the Dragon stuff?

Just scheduled a trip for August 17th with a small group (non-Stinger)!

Wrecked my truck there when I was 20. "Just one more run."
Let's just say I discovered under steer that day. Wonder if a piece of my truck is still in the tree. I've always wanted to go can and "redeem"myself

Come on down!! Sorry 'bout your truck, tho...

Great shots! Looks like a blast. I have been trying to get out there for a while. It is definitely on my bucket list.

Very nice! Such a fun time down there. I’ve been there 3 times now on the motorcycle, making my 4th trip in October. The surrounding areas also have incredible roads/scenery.

Lucky she drove at all. Gotta wonder how much money in repairs and insurance claims there's been there over the past couple of decades!
