3.3TT SSR Performance Dual Front Mount CAI - PRE-ORDER SPECIAL! (pics/vid inside)

While the price does fluctuates, I have never seen it at 700 USD. It usually hovers around 630 USD to 680 USD shipped.

No, like NYdito said it's 895 AUD which is 637 USD (based on today's exchange rate). Shipping is included in that price.

The price on our end fluctuates. I've seen it over 700 USD and under 630 USD based on different days I've checked.
Ok it must have changed as i payed $700 total during the group buy and shipping was seperate. ($800 AUD plus $200 AUD shipping to US)

I just checked my PayPal and I paid 727 USD. But I ordered it with SS tubing so it was priced 950 AUD.

This was July 23. Exchange rate was 1 USD = 1.3074 AUD.

Side note: my $727 is still tied up in JTs broken PayPal and PayPal has sent my account to a collection agency because FML.

Ordered...December can't come soon enough. Hopefully I am in the first batch.

Looks amazing.

Very skeptical about this setup. Here is why...

Has anyone seen the the CFM of the stock intake manifold? It doesn't matter how much the filter pipes take in unless the intake can handle the same.

Rain..Yes this would be an issue unless you only drive your car on dry days. The filters are coated with oil. We all know that oil and water does not mix so that means the water going through the grill which hits the radiator is now hitting the filters. This water will either clog the pores left open from the oil reducing the air intake or get squeeze past those holes making its way further into the intake pipe into your engine.

The filters are sucking both incoming air from the front and collecting bugs, debris, dust, water...etc and the back side is sucking the HOT air from the radiator. If the CFM front the intake can not handle the extra air then the cool looking pipes behind the radiator will get heat soaked and just put MORE hot air into the intake.

This application would be OK if you trailer you car to the track and do a run with no heat soak on a nice cool and dry spring morning.

Lets not be fooled by a dyno sheet. We all know those can be manipulated. Lets see some real world application before we spend 700 bucks on some mandrel bent, powder coated tubes and a couple 30 dollar K&N filters.

I actually have these on my car. I was skeptical at first but after driving these in the rain when it poured two weekends ago. So i drove about 1 hour in the rain i pulled up into my garage i took my bumper off which only takes 15 min. I took the filters off and no water inside i was surprised i thought for sure water but nothing and let me remind it was pouring. Put everything back on and drove. The biggest test is driving it for a long time and see how dirty it gets, but tbh i don't think it will get that much dirty than a regular filter. Ive had them for about 400 miles, i will check at 1000 miles to see how they r.

Ive had the K&N Typhoon intake before this, i honestly love these better the power is there. you can feel the difference between those two intake. As soon as u hit the pedal u will notice the power and torque. If i would have to choose one intake i will definitely say the SSR ones.

No it’s by people that don’t agree with the big assumptions being made.

This is all conjecture until we get some of these on the road. Also, your point about the filter oil isn't valid, as from the beginning they've said they're dry filters.

I think we can agree that these are a different approach than any other intake setup currently available. As to how that plays out? We'll see in a few months.

You the men !!!!! Do you have the ssr ??

Nope I have the K&N with Velossa Tech Snorkels. Which I am happy with but I see nothing wrong with the SSR design.

The idea that the back half of the filter will suck in hot air because of the radiator shows a lack of understanding of air flow. The rest are just assumptions that are likely overblown.

Do we have a vendor with a promo code on this board ?
Was thinking about grabbing this set up

I was holding off ordering this intake until it actually comes out and there are real reviews but your promo code made up my mind to act now.
But when I went to your site to checkout I noticed even though in the description it lists “Free Shipping within the continental United States” when I was about to pay it says shipping will be calculated later?
If I order is the shipping indeed free as stated on your website?
If so I will order it, if not that is pretty misleading.

FWIW, I ordered a different intake from him using a promo code and paid no shipping.
