Wonder if we can have some exhaust crackle in Sports mode? During overruns and downshifts etc.

It would make the driving experience a lot more exciting!

Welcome aboard, @StingerGT156! Thank you for signing up. The Stinger exhaust IS quite quiet... However, it IS a GT - which stands for Grand Touring. But I agree, it would be nice to have that crackle at times. I'm just not confident that Kia will give us what you're asking for - unless they do a special higher performance version down the road. Which I believe they will...

that is my one grip with the car, its too quiet in sport mode. I also was considering a Charger RT Scat Pack and the sound alone from that car (aside from the brutal speed) was very addictive.

The OE Exhuast is too restrictive to have aggressive pops in the first place. The second thing...need to add a little MAP to dump a tad bit of fuel after down shifts, and coming off the gas. Probably not hard for a tuner to code that in

That sound you are referring to is unspent fuel and that means your tune is off.

That sounds like complete garbage. Sounds like someone shooting a tin can with bbs. Maybe I’m just used to my Cobra cracking and popping like gun shots...

Nasty. Sounds like something is broken. Reminds me of when I broke the tranny in my Mustang... disengage the clutch and let the snap, crackle, and pop begin.

Yeah that sounds like shit. ECU tunes will have option for pops soon. Hope it sounds better. My AMG crackles in sport mode and is amazingly fun.

very few factory cars get that snap crackle pop stock. The AMG and Jag F type come to mind.

My stock Stinger with the Kia bi-modal exhaust has burble (not cracks/pops) when you let out the throttle. Tune not changed at all, so it's there stock you just need a different exhaust to hear it. I'll try to remember to take a video.
