3.3TT Quicksilver Exhaust Systems

I am casually shopping for an exhaust atm. I like to hear "real world" sound clips, I do like the sound posted by QS. However, I am leaning towards an evc setup right now.
There are some youtube clips just posted real world sound of just the axle back section installed. I think it sounds amazing

I'm pretty interested; the sound clips are OK but are there any clips without the secondaries and just the catback?

SOmeone just posted some on Youtube, stock exhaust up to the axleback

I can't seem to find said videos, can you point me in the right direction?

I need a Borla vs this cat back with the mid pipes comparison video.

That sounds pretty tame. Not much louder than when I had my stock exhaust and SSR midpipes.

I currently have Borla and Ark and had SSR
ditching the Borla for this
Borla is very raspy with my setup and sounds cheap and ghetto

I can almost guarantee that this setup will have a unique sound that we have not experienced here yet. T

It sounds almost perfect for those of us that are looking for non-droning, slightly improved sound over stock. Occasionally lower the windows to enjoy the exhaust note. From the sounds of it, I should just get secondary pipes and stick with stock exhaust. :)

Except that stock mufflers are a performance restriction. Pretty good gains with removing it.

Definitely would be nice to have an AWD option. Not all of us have access to a TIG welder, much less have mad welding skills.

I don't know why I'm even part of this thread, I already have ARK midpipes. Yet here I am, just excited to see new products.

I'm here about ready to rip this other exhaust off and get this one instead. If these things end up sounding good, there may be a spike in catbacks and mids for sale.

I'm very interested as well

Just waiting to hear real world sound clips as well as reports of drone in the dreaded 1500 - 2000 rpm range.

I'd like to hear the difference between just catback vs catback with downpipe.

I don’t think an exhaust that quite is going to drone.

Mostly from weight savings. The stock exhaust is heavy. I was surprised when I removed it.

Also there is a big bend in the pipe leading up to the mufflers. Performance lost right there.

Not everyone is looking to squeeze every hp out of the car. :D I just want civilized interior sound with a bit of a growl outside.

So no drone from the sound of it, I was hoping for a video outside from the back with some revs but guess thats coming tomorrow?

We’re all searching and searching for a good sounding cat back with no drone. How many exhaust specialists have tried and failed? All of them? I don’t want to be pessimistic but... perhaps it can’t be done. Stock or some drone seems to be the choice we have. I’d love to be wrong.

It’s been done. You just need to add exhaust tips and most exhausts become drone free. It’s the way the Stinger exhaust tips are detached from the mufflers that leads to most of the drone as the sound reverbs under the car rather than escaping out the back.

I can cruise on the highway and I can’t even tell I have an aftermarket exhaust.

Not a lot of drone from the Thermal or Jun Bl... All you have to do is look at those exhausts and you can see why. And why adding tips may help.
