I wrote Quick Silver yesterday to confirm the flange material used.

They use 304 stainless for the flanges; lots of exhaust companies skimp like Ark and use cad plated mild steel to save money.

Just a heads up, and I should have mentioned this in the beginning. This catback utilizes a rippled crossover pipe, unlike anything we have available for us so far. Almost every system I research, uses an X pipe or H pipe. X pipe delivers more hp over an H pipe(minimal) with more rasp and high pitch. H pipe has a lower tone and deeper growl and more torque than an X pipe(also minimal). That being said, the rippled pipe should kill any rasp, while also giving a distinct tone over what is out there now. Basically the best of both

Definitely would be nice to have an AWD option. Not all of us have access to a TIG welder, much less have mad welding skills.

I don't know why I'm even part of this thread, I already have ARK midpipes. Yet here I am, just excited to see new products.

If I buy the cat back now, can they do 50% off for the awd downpipes in the future? Also, would you recommend changing sparks plugs for downpipes, cat back and cold air intakes, no jb4.

I don’t think you need to do spark plugs unless you get a tune

Always possible. Stasis once sent me two left side mufflers for my Audi. It would be easy to tell though. This one looks like 3 pieces and 4 bolts/nuts.

I am casually shopping for an exhaust atm. I like to hear "real world" sound clips, I do like the sound posted by QS. However, I am leaning towards an evc setup right now.

I will most likely order it. My only issue is the only sound clips are with the downpipes that I can't use due to AWD. If they agree to make the AWD downpipes and give the same offer I'll order everything. Besides having fake cats are they any different than the ark? Should I just get the ark downpipes? I would like everything from Quicksilver also they appear to have cats so I would feel better about the dealership not giving me any warranty problems saying you deleted the secondary cats.
