PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

No offense whatsoever to anyone, but I feel that for a $1,200+ tune they should really be diagnosing and fixing things for you, not cutting back your boost target and blaming piggybacks. This is unfortunate, as I really like PRESSERTech. :(
Its also a huge stretch to call this a Stage 2 tune if if doesn't work the no secondary CATS.
What is the boost on this Stage 2?

They told me boost targets are between 15-20 psi, depending on the environment.

Where's Ashton Kutcher?

For now I am still trying to get things right and here it is a long weekend, so the shop that is looking after things for me , has been off duty for the holiday,
But I will keep what ever I find out posted :) just for the record with the exception of hitting hard at full throttle, the Pressertech tune works very well for me unless it floored at launch lol

@Arnie War
What's up with your Stinger?
Did you get your issues resolved?
Really surprised at your issues, I have not seen anyone else have any issue with pressertech tune.
Mine was and is flawless.

Plus one on this, @Arnie War , nobody has had more challenges with their Stinger than you have. From your very first post on this forum, and all the way through your ECU tune with PresserTech. Hoping you are finally satisfied.

why dont you record some logs so you can see where the issues are. Im sure when they put it on the dyno they are reading all the info.

Does he have a JB4?

Still a work in progress lol omg , and looking like next week they might have the software to pull out some data logs

I have an appointment for Friday March 6 at Classified, to run on Dyno and they have what they need to do a data logging now :) Now on another note they told me to switch from Chervon 94 to Shell V 91 both have no ethanol in it :) which I have done and with my 18 “ winter s changed back to 19” Michelin pilot 4 s , so I thought just for fun I will do a Launch with the Shell V-power gas ⛽️ and see how fast it would go into limp mode again !I did small tests 1: launch control and 2 approximately 50kms pound it to the floor!
Most likely my results are lucky today but I did not hit limp mode on either or my tests , I will try tomorrow, weather permitting to do the same two tests and see it I get the same results:) That was 2 very smooth run s :)

I'm really confused by this. So lower octane gas is fixing the issue?

Probably better quality though. I've read in a couple other places the Chevron 94 in Canada isn't very good. There's only one Chevron station in my city and it's way the hell out of my way so I've never tried it.

I changed to the Shell V power gas to see if there was any difference between the 2 brands after being asked by Classified Motorsports tuning shop here In Kelowna Bc . The Pressertech tune was setup for 91 octane as they also were aware of the crappy gas here in Canada .
What stuck in my head before was a conversation I had with the Tuner here at Classified Motorsports he was stating that they all use this Shell V power and the results were better use Shells V power over the Chevron 94 , which was all I ever run in my Stinger since I drove it out of the show room :)
Now weather permitting tomorrow I will try both the launch and roll on to see if it will fail like on the Chevron 94 :) Friday we will data log it and DynoCom Dyno it as this is the same Dyno as I used before getting 356.5 Awd hp using the RS RC chip . , sorry all I have for now :)

This may have been answered but if so I missed it; is the tune detectable by the service department? If for some reason they need to reflash the ECU, will it overwrite the tune?
I was wondering the same thing.

Just took another launch tonight with my wife with me this time as she knew how dissatisfied I was that the car went into limp , air temperature +4 , and we did a 45 Kms roll on , then full throttle and once again things worked perfectly, now the only two things where changed prior 3 days ago was my 19 “ summer s and changed from chevron 94 to Shell V Power 91 . Now the Pressertech tune was setup for only 91 as they said our gas in Canada is not so good , so for what ever reason what I thought was the best gas 94 Chevron but after being advised by Classified Motorsports to switch to Shell V power 91 as they had timing issues being pulled using the 94 chevron.
Just thought I would do the Test twice to see if I got the same results and that I did indeed . These cars must be so touchy with respect to fuel quality, now these are just the only changes made and Friday , I will have the Classified Motorsports tuner run a Dyno and data log it :) at least now I can smile again :)

I found a substantial difference leaving Sunoco 94 here in Ontario for 91 shell. Was surprised and disappointed how at the money I wasted on 94 prior to reading previous jb4 Canadian experiences. Costco and Canadian tire are also ethanol free 91
