Why not just borrow a OBD2 scanner? Way cheaper and gives you logs.
That would be better than nothing but won't have the extended Kia channels like timing cyl 2-6.

How do you datalog with the jb4 if you have a tune already? Just plug into the obd?Datalogging is a very nice thing to have indeed - especially with a tune.

I removed the jb4 when I got the ecu tune. So I'm thinking, plug into the obd port and switch to map 0 then data log?You can just keep everything plugged in and use Map 0, which is supposed to effectively disable the JB4. From there you can just datalog.
Pretty sure it has to be fully installed. Power prob comes from the boost or map connections since the obd is optional.I removed the jb4 when I got the ecu tune. So I'm thinking, plug into the obd port and switch to map 0 then data log?
I feel like this is deja vu from the supercharged 3800 tuning community back in the early 2000s. Canned/generic tune, car doesn't run right, owner doesn't log anything, 6 months down the road they pop a piston because of knock they had no idea about because "now the car feels great" and still never scanned.
Regardless of what tuning solution someone ends up with JB4, RaceChip, Pressertech, Tork, whatever.. you need to be able to properly scan your car and datalog. Randomly throwing different fuel and additives in the car and hoping for the best is not proper troubleshooting and I've seen it lead to more than a few damaged engines over the years.

Needs the one TMAP connection (rainbow patch) and OBDII as min connections to log.
Does that allow you to log everything the same as being fully connected?
I have to fully agree after getting my fuel problems solved , one thing here in BC the gas quality is not the best , but it seems so far the Shell V power is working for my hew ECU tune from PressertechI'm simply going to call this tune "Crack for Snap-Your-Head-Back" addicts like me!
While I was traveling for business, my ECU was being decoded and tuned by PRESSERTech. Much to my disappointment, business obligations kept from being able to install my reprogrammed ECU for much longer than I intended. Last night, my dream came true when I put the tuned ECU into my baby and took her out for a spin.
While I was away from my Stinger, I spent some high quality time driving a new BMW 550i XDrive. That beast, and it's 456hp/480tq, had me wondering why I bought the Stinger. It's effortless acceleration was thrilling! This experience became my benchmark for whether I would consider the new tune a success.
Thanks to Todd at PRESSERTech, I have zero regrets with my tuned 3.3L TT AWD Stinger! This tune is amazing, bringing the most smiles per gallon I've experienced in longer than I can recall! I put it into Sport mode, selected drive, mashed the pedal and without hesitation my rear tires broke loose and she roared ahead!
I wish there was a Dyno near El Paso so I could find the exact HP/TQ numbers, but for now I will simply be satisfied knowing she didn't move like this before the tune. This tune is worth every penny spent, and more! IMO
Thanks for reading!
Now that I got things sorted out with the limp mode problem, The tune works great tbh@Arnie War , your Stinger will be a beast unleashed with the @Pressertech tune.
Ok I just got the gas and windshield washer filled to the top , spare tire on board and, with my wife with me and decided to try a Dragy launch 0-60 and 1/8 mile run ! The Pressertech tune check out ok and tomorrow looks like I can get a run Dyno In the afternoonView attachment 38922

I have the stock Michelin pilot 4 sWhat was your pre-tune 0-60? What kind of tires you running?
Click on your 0-60 and show us your graph, also, you should do a proper 0-60 w/out passengers and show us.
This is supposed to be a dyno thread. Since there is only like 1 Dyno in this ENTIRE thread, the least you could do is show us a decent 0-60 run on your PRESSERTech tune! Lol[/QUOTE
This is some previous runs
