PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

Just called the Dyno place and last years was over laid the 2019 on the run today but the lowest numbers as this afternoon s run :)

why does the dyno have 4/4/2019 date?

The 2nd run selected (displayed below the graph) has today's date and that is where the 330WHP/406WTQ figures come from. Also, his dragy time can't be due to the wrong dyno graph so unless he just isn't paying attention and uploaded the wrong picture there, it all adds up to something being wrong with the tune or a major bottleneck.

There can be nothing accurate about a Dyno of this car in 4th gear. 5th gear is 1 to 1. You need to discard everything about today's printout.

I give up, I have no idea what's going on here.
All I know is that my mods and Presser Tech tune works flawless.
I know others on here are happy with their Presser Tech tunes as well.

I'm willing to accept that the dyno numbers could be wrong because of dynoing in the wrong gear, however, correction factors exist to deal with variables that can't be controlled so I hope the dyno operator took this into account.

Also, this still doesn't explain his STOCK 0-60 and 1/8 mile times achieved and measured today with Dragy.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
All I can say is That I have interesting luck with this car , so perhaps if I can get enough money later I will set up a tune session with TOrk when he has his stage 2 tune settled , but no matter what the numbers are the car works well now :)

None of it really makes sense but as long as you're happy I'm happy. My advice to anyone on the internet, if you are doing dyno testing to get numbers, rather than evaluate tuning changes on the fly, accept nothing less than a dynojet. Anything else is a waste of your time and money.

Dyno brand matters less than comparing like for like. Best thing to do is always dyno your vehicle at the same shop.

It is cold as all get-out where he is. He isn't going to grab pavement to save his soul, let alone turn in a great sprint...

awd at 330 doesn’t spin

I have an AWD GT and live in Minnesota. Unless there's snow/ice on the ground or the ground is straight up frozen, traction isn't an issue in a straight line. I would hope Arnie isn't trying to test the performance of his vehicle under those conditions, as I would expect him to know better being Canadian.

Well I never over inflate my findings even if there not much , I will have Classified Motorsports do a data log when they get their DynoCom fixed as they are still waiting
for a part to come in :)

Traction was not a problem and sometimes the launch has a slight delay and I was fully fueled up as well as windshield fluid, so I can stay traction was a issue, it feel like it has such a smooth steady gain though :) also the gas quality is not the best and my Tune was for only 91 not 93 because of the fuel quality/)

If you're doing same day testing between different maps and focused on % gained rather than actual numbers then any dyno will do. I prefer MD dynos for that purpose. But for 98% of what anyone on this forum is going to be doing, it has to be a dynojet.

yes true enough Terry ,, they tell me these two Dyno Com work almost the same as Mustang Dynos !
I will continue work with this car to see if it performs ok on the streets and with doing one track day this year only unless I find enough power to bring hard around the corners of the track here !!!!

don’t pay for another dyno, or logging. Buy a jb4 and do it yourself. Don’t keep throwing money at things without a plan in place and a goal to get too

Also the DA on his run was +2500. That and 91 octane isn't going to be blazing fast.

A 91 tune I guess is not so bad but 93 tune I think would be so much faster :) 059C5D34-7D83-475B-BAA6-BFEBE40132A1.webp059C5D34-7D83-475B-BAA6-BFEBE40132A1.webp
