Sounds great, I'm assuming your commute is mostly hwy, what was your cruising speed? Any drive ability issues at part throttle? Has the throttle response changed? From the factory, it felt like there was a built in delay between throttle application and actual engine response that isn't turbo lag related, the delay is eliminated/reduced in sport mode.Although this wasn't what I wanted my tune for, here is an added benefit: improved fuel economy.
This portion of my commute, in comfort mode, was consistently between 29.0 and 30.0 before the tune. Not only do you get better performance, especially in Sport mode, but better mpgs and added power in Comfort mode.

I need to find out if Pressertech found a source for spare ECUs!
Yeah, I know where you're coming from. Work Motorsports initially had the spare ECU priced on their website at $550, and now it's up to $1000 on their website. Inflation?
I was hoping that a tuner could copy the files from the OEM ECU onto the spare ECU, tune the spare ECU so when installed, no error codes. Swap the tuned ECU for the OEM ECU when going to the dealer for service, so they are none the wiser.
i second bump thisBump on Socalstinga's question above. I have CAI installed, downpipes with secondary cat delete OTW, and a cat back exhaust purchase planned.
The dyno won't really tell you much without knowing your baseline numbers but there's a performance shop called Special Vehicle Services near you.
There's a few others in your area but I just posted the first one that Google revealed.
The really cool thing
Yes, I've contacted all of them. None have an AWD dyno machine. However, there are two trade colleges in El Paso that have the AWD dyno machines. I am attempting to either rent one or have my Stinger used in a class demonstration.....
Although it is true the the dyno won't tell me exact gains without my own baseline, if my tuned dyno shows 450+ HP & TQ, then I know I am well above factory claims and I will be happy with the quantified ROI. I am already thrilled with the qualified ROI.
This car is SOOOO much crazy fun now! There is so much TQ that my drift and squawk abilities are AWESOME!!!
I talked with Scott earlier. Looks like I'm going to be picking up the AWD. So you're saying the added TQ allows for a little tail action?
Oh yeah! Especially in sport mode!!!
Any chance you can take a video of a 0-60, or whatever you are comfortable with?
I'll see if I can figure out a way to do that. An injury from my Army days left my left hand with minimal functionality from nerve damage. This makes it challenging to take pictures/videos and drive or do anything else at the same time.
