As I been told by Tuners that I’ve basically modded my 18 STINGER GT2 with all the HP GOODIES to get more power as I can but want to know IF and HOW I can get more. I would like to upgrade to the “PURE TURBOS” as a last and FINAL upgrade but wonder if I will be good with the stock transmission or if anything else would need to be upgraded before making that decision. It was suggested to me by one Tuner to go to METH but after research I found that switching to a METH MIX would not be a good idea for that motor and want to get the best out of my motor without any damage. Then I had another Tuner trying to convince me that the JB4 tune needs to come off my car that his “30 year Tune” would be better…NOT! I don’t trust him and very Happy with the JB4 so I had to move away from him too as the METH tuner. So wondering if anyone could help me with what I could do for more power and if the “PURE TURBO” install will be a smart decision???
…for it’s hard to find a good trusting Tuner around here that can help me that I trust.

Didn't you already have another thread asking about how to get more power out of your Stinger? Seems redundant.
If it's a different question then maybe title your post differently, for starters.
Also, have you tried using the search function? Could save some time. There are at least a couple threads on aftermarket turbos already.

That’s why I keep asking cause I keep getting pointless replies like this one

I thought a picture worth a thousand words would suffice. bigger snails are done, just ask those who do it what the pros and cons are. and accept the consequences, which first is no more warranty, but you probly already passed that point a while back.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Your tuners are stupid. You have NOT maxed your car out. If all you have is a JB, you have soooo much more to go. First, Meth or CPI will set the conditions to add quite a bit more HP. If that isn't enough, get a good ECU tune like Sxth, or even Lap (I'm a Sxth fan) With supporting mods like HFC, Inter cooler and intakes reaching 500 HP isn't that difficult. BTW, Meth is NEVER a bad idea, that guy really doesn't know what he's talking about. But if you have access to E-85, I would lean you toward CPI.

Actually your wrong because I just had a warranty claim that was honored I’m waiting for to arrive this week that actually the KIA dealer advised ME of.

First off there not “my” tuners there just tuners I have spoke with just to get different opinions but thank you for your info.

for context, you may want to give what @AWDGT2 says some serious though, considering he has one of the fastest stingers in the world, and he is an incredibly knowledgeable on this platform. He can literally find a solution to just about any problem that can be had with enough context.

But since I heard sone good stuff about you and your knowledge of the STINGER I can do nothing but listen.

I answered you in your other thread already, but you're local "tuners" are idiots.

An example of something you can run cheap - diy intake, brake snip mod, plugs, JB4, CPI kit, EK1 tuner + BMS BEF, and then run it all on e60 and in the right conditions you'll be low 3 sec 0-60 and in the 10's for the 1/4 mile. Total cost ~ $2500.

Or you could do Lap3 and spend way more $ and only be marginally faster.

Or you can go with upgraded turbos and spend $$$$$ more and probably end up breaking something shortly thereafter. If you were serious about getting upgraded turbos I would highly recommend you sell your Stinger and go buy an M340i/M440i and mod it instead since it will be way better bang for the buck with the b58 than the Stinger platform.

I hear you thank you for that info. I’ll take appreciate you

We offer Pure Turbo kits, an excellent choice for a safe, reliable turbo kit.

What other supporting mods do you have besides a JB4? I would make sure you are maximizing your bolt-on options first before going straight towards a turbo swap. JB4 is a great place to start, I would keep it regardless of whichever direction you choose since it will come in hand when you need to do logs.
