More Horsepower

Your “tuner” is an idiot and he is trying to scam the big money out of your pocket. There are only 5 tuners in this market able to tune upgraded turbo, only 4 would offer the tune to your own turbo kits, and only 3 would tune it via EK1. This idiot wouldn’t even do his research before running his mouth lmao.
I hear you
First off I keep saying HE’S NOT MY DAMN TUNER! But I figured he was just trying to sell me his tune is all.

Relax a tad. You asked a question and the many, upon many Stinger owners are throwing in their opinions. When most say "your tuner", they are just stating the person or persons you spoke to or similar (you know that). And, some people do not have time to read the whole thread to view all the responses so they are only responding to your original post and thus they may not see that we all think you should ignore your stupid tuner(s) regarding this particular thing. :ninja:

From this point further, we all agree that said tuner(s) are incorrect and should not be listened to any further in regards to this particular thing because they are dumb dumbs.

We’re just referring to those local “tuner” guys in general, which is a big meme for the current tuning market. Those idiots might not even have more experience other than flashing canned maps to American V8 with HPtuner or canned tunes for Audi and BMW with zero adjustments because they don’t give a F about how knock limited their “tuned” cars are.

I understand

Your tuners are stupid. You have NOT maxed your car out. If all you have is a JB, you have soooo much more to go. First, Meth or CPI will set the conditions to add quite a bit more HP. If that isn't enough, get a good ECU tune like Sxth, or even Lap (I'm a Sxth fan) With supporting mods like HFC, Inter cooler and intakes reaching 500 HP isn't that difficult. BTW, Meth is NEVER a bad idea, that guy really doesn't know what he's talking about. But if you have access to E-85, I would lean you toward CPI.
Can you please help me on what to do next to get that more power I’m looking for

You have JB4 and plugs so you are ready for an E85 and 93 octane mix.

You can safely run a mix of 93 and e85 for an e30 mix right now. With e30 even on map 3, you'll get a very good hp/tq boost. If you'd prefer more peace of mind you can get the BMS flex fuel kit that will tap into the JB4 and show you the exact E mix you have in your tank too. I don't have the flex fuel kit so I error on the lower side for my E mix and have never overdone it where I've had any problems.

I run 4.5gals of e85 and the rest of the tank 93 and run map 5 myself and I have way fewer mods than you do. Zero issues thus far.

My only mods are HKS plugs, diy intake and the JB4.
Thank you David that helps me out alot on my decision

CPI??? What’s the some type of port injection?
7th injector to aid the fuel pump for the extra fuel flow from high ethanol content. Theatrically you should be able to run E65 or even full E85 with proper tune but cars/fuel stations vary. Comparing with water methanol injection it all depends on if meth is easy access for you. E30~E40 with WMI is what our cars love most when you’re trying to chase for record.

Thank you for that good information

for context, you may want to give what @AWDGT2 says some serious though, considering he has one of the fastest stingers in the world, and he is an incredibly knowledgeable on this platform. He can literally find a solution to just about any problem that can be had with enough context.
Copy that, thank you

I know this is about a year old but i dont see the comparison between Meth and CPI. Meth is extremely toxic to humans, destroys aluminum over time, will become a fireball in an accident and takes up trunk space. CPI you install and forget- its all in the engine bay and with the right tuning could be a god send. Meth is in the same boat as NOS to me: its a cheap way to get performance but Meth will destroy all aluminum and Nos indirectly will destroy your transmissions via the instant shot of tq, people do both on street cars because they dont want to pay to do performance the right way.

You are right about a lot, but I think people see Meth as an alternative because they do not have e85 near them. If you dont have e85 the most you can do is a 93 tune IF the gas near you is good.

I totally get that but it doesnt negate the safety issues IMO. id never put something like that in the car with my kids and forget putting it behind their seat in the trunk.
