Yeah I figured that much, the tips will definitely help get rid of the drone and reverberation though. I'm just hoping it's not internal inside of one of the mufflers
Yeah mine are at least an inch or so away from all the fake tips and anything under there I checked all around inside the muffler area. The guy that installed it is going to get it up onto the lift today sometime to inspect tighten everything. . I did reach out to the seller with the issue as to how they want to proceed if it is indeed a manufacturer defect.

That sound is the exact sound mine was making at cold start. I removed the Akra tips to make sure it wasn't them. Then I tightened all 4 of the exhaust clamps with an impact. Sound stopped.
Mine does the exact same shitty sound only on cold starts. I have the ARK secondaries with the stainless MBRP with tips connected out the back. I went back and torqued all the clamps down and it still makes that raspy sound

Hmmm and there is clearance around all of the piping? Mids and exhaust? Tightening the clamps down corrected mine so perhaps an exhaust shop can help you diagnose the issue on yours. Maybe you need the seams welded as those clamps aren’t the best.
Got it up on the lift tightened everything up as tight as you could go I think I'm still hearing a raspiness couldn't hear it when it was on the left everything sounded good when the refs were being done
