• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Lowering Springs: What did you use and where were they from?

Set up is:
Rear: 20x10 +42 with 275/30 R20
Front: 20x8.5 +32 with 245/35 R20

They fit with no poke or rubbing, but the tyres are slightly stretched, so you have to be aware of curbs, but I'm super happy with it
looks good mate! hows the ride quality?

I went ARK as well but with the gt-f line.
Less aggressive of a drop but I have a good slope coming in my driveway and didn't want to worry about bottoming out every time I left the house.

To me the drop on my AWD is perfect. Clears up a lot of the wheel gap while still being high enough to not worry about scraping anywhere even with my lip kit.

Ride is much better than factory so totally agree with others that it is my favorite mod to date.

I think it's worth pointing out that firstly my partner can't tell the difference and she's an active gear head too.

Daily driving it I THINK the FALKENs are a bit more noisy and I would say there's a smidge more bump in sport from the springs when driving but honestly it's so minor it's hard to quantify. Just go for the drop you want on a reputable brand.

If you don't mind going a bit slow over a speedbump sometimes, H&R is my pick.

Agreed , its great to be able afford & choose the mods you really want and not have the wife/partner tell you no. Im due for new tyres as the contis are looking past there best, leaning towards the Pilot sports.

I'll burn the FALKENs out in a track day or two after winter then switch to Pilot Sports. Seems hard to complete really.

I had the pilot sports on my last vehicle very impressed with there performance. Potenza's prior to that weren't bad either.

Looks good, sits nice but not too low.
Are you pleased with the look & who did it for you.

Yer mate I am. It’s what I wanted. Former then I expected but I will get use to it. I already like how much more confident it feels when driving. Like it wants to just attack the corners. I had it installed at a local mechanic by a guy with 14yrs experience at pedders. He said the front was tricky, took about 5hrs to do.

Glad your happy with it, it looks good, wait until you fit Swaybars then attack the corners, that’s where the fun really begins.

Hi guys,
I'm picking up my stinger soon and looking at H&R springs. Who did you get to install in Perth and approx cost?

Hey mate, I eneded up installing them myself. If you're in Perth and would like to talk to other Stinger members send me a DM with your Facebook name and I'll add you to the group chat.

Lots of modification knowledge about :)
