Lowering Springs: What did you use and where were they from?

Hey folks, I am looking at some lowering springs and after reading about the differences between springs for AWD and RWD I thought I should go with H&R over Eibach.

Has anyone else lowered their Stinger, if so, what did you use and where did you source them?
Further, how much drop did you get and was it even?

I've been quoted $1,000 for a shop to buy, install and perform an alignment but I'm thinking that's a bit rich.

Welcome, I don’t have lowering springs, a lot of members on this forum have & I believe H&R are suited better to RWD but others with actual experience would be well suited to advise.
I see your in WA, have you also considered/researched King Springs these are now available for the Stinger although I have not come across anyone who has these fitted.

I've got some time on a track coming, so I'm going to see how it feels without them, if only for curiosity.

You’ll will definitely what to do them after a track day. Eibach Swaybars is best mod you can do for the money.

Hi I have the Eibach springs they add a very luxurious feel to the ride, the car didn't dip into the corners as before and the rebound is more stabilised. The stance looks nice. However you will sit lower at the back. The Eibachs were apparently designed with the heavier overseas AWD model in mind.

Mine sits about 25mm lower at the front and 30mm in the rear. Very pleased overall. The addition of sway bars have added to the handling positively as well.

I have the sways too. Live south of of river if you want to feel difference in a drive.

I have the @arkperformance gt-s lowering springs. I loved them they handle good and give the car a very nice drop. These r a little more aggressive than the ark gt-f

Hadn't even considered them, thanks for giving me another option. I checked out Kings and a lot of the JDM crowd feel they're OK but very "You get what you pay for" so leaning towards H&R or maybe those Arks.

If you're looking for quality springs you can't go past the Eibach, they're a great improvement on the stock ones.

Correct. My Springs were $428, installation was $450. Was quoted for 4-6 hours. Took the shop about 5-5-1/2 hours. Best mod to date.

Good choice of spring, that sits really nice & level, not low in the bum like Eibach springs.

I’ve ordered the eibach springs from
Their site. They specifically state for rwd and they have an A after the model number so I’m hoping there different to the previous springs that we’re designed for AWD. Will know in a week or so once their on.

Well that’s good to hear, in the past they’ve only had AWD sets.

Mate that looks so good. Ill probably be getting the H&R over the Eibach since ive heard that there is no trimming required. Whats your wheel setup? The fitment looks nice

Set up is:
Rear: 20x10 +42 with 275/30 R20
Front: 20x8.5 +32 with 245/35 R20

They fit with no poke or rubbing, but the tyres are slightly stretched, so you have to be aware of curbs, but I'm super happy with it
