While it is annoying to see the warning light, there’s no harm in driving with it on. My TPMS is acting up again due to the cold weather and sudden drop in psi. It flashes orange for certain wheels but gives a reasonable reading of 32 so I know there’s no issues.Talk to service department today, they said should be no tpms on the winter tires, $3000 for winter tires without tpms, are you kidding
And I pick up on Monday with the winter tires and nobody, I mean nobody let me know,
Should I drive with warning light on whole winter, in Alberta Canada is almost half year
$3000 winter tires package still have to buy sensor myself$100 for sensor on amazon or ebay
Summer too. I got TSW wheels for fair season driving and had to buy TPMS.$3000 winter tires package still have to buy sensor myself
I don't think this would have happened in the US.$3000 winter tires package still have to buy sensor myself
My TPMS light is flashing and keeps giving me a warningDoes it flash at all?
Thats just annoyingMy TPMS light is flashing and keeps giving me a warningsignal. I had an oil change yesterday where they rotated the tires. At first I thought the light would turn off after I drove around for a bit but now I’m going to take it right back up to the dealership tomorrow.
Does the safe have a sensor?Did you check the spare?
No, the spare doesnt have tpmsDoes the safe have a sensor?
Exactly!! Also It may be the battery in TPMS and or if you installed the spare, I dont believe the spare has the TPMS device because its only temporary. A tire shop can perform a diag with their tool the see if the TPMS responds, if not then the TPMS is dead and cant communicate with the car computer.I had this issue and the solution was to get the tire PSI up above 37 psi. Once you do and drive around a bit the TPMS warning will go away. Then you can reduce to your desired pressure. For whatever reason, once the low pressure warning is tripped it won't go away until the pressure goes above 37 psi (at least that was my experience).
Hope that helps.
