Seeking How To Low Tire Pressure Warning - How to Reset

I try 38psi for all last night, and drive to work today, nothing changes warning light still on, I emailed salesman yesterday about that, she reply winter tires doesn't have tmps, I thought she must be kidding

Looking to make your Stinger unique? Here's the place to do it...
I had this issue and KIA had to replace all my TPMS sensors on the car.

Try 39psi today drive for half hour, still not go away
Maybe bring back to dealer this weekend

Talk to service department today, they said should be no tpms on the winter tires, $3000 for winter tires without tpms, are you kidding
And I pick up on Monday with the winter tires and nobody, I mean nobody let me know,
Should I drive with warning light on whole winter, in Alberta Canada is almost half year

While it is annoying to see the warning light, there’s no harm in driving with it on. My TPMS is acting up again due to the cold weather and sudden drop in psi. It flashes orange for certain wheels but gives a reasonable reading of 32 so I know there’s no issues.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
$100 for sensor on amazon or ebay

$3000 winter tires package still have to buy sensor myself
Summer too. I got TSW wheels for fair season driving and had to buy TPMS.

Does it flash at all?
My TPMS light is flashing and keeps giving me a warning ⚠️ signal. I had an oil change yesterday where they rotated the tires. At first I thought the light would turn off after I drove around for a bit but now I’m going to take it right back up to the dealership tomorrow.

Thats just annoying

Bringing this thread from the dead to give my results.

I bought the same OEM wheels and tires from someone, just to have summers and keep my old ones as winters. Then I can switch them myself when the season is about to change. Anyways, after changing all four wheels, the pressure on all wheels were 30-31psi. But one tire gave me a low pressure sensor error. I filled the tires back up to spec, 38 front and 36psi back.

The error was still there. I continued reading on the net about a possible solution. Like some here said, just over fill the tire to around 41psi and drive for a bit. The error will go away. Well I did that and the error went away instantly. didn't have to drive for a bit or anything. I let some air out to get the tire back to 38psi, now it's all good.

BTW, the Stinger took a little bit of driving to get the car to calibrate with the new wheel sensors. Didn't have to go to the dealer to get them to do it. It's automatic.

Hope this helps someone. :)

I have to say that in my limited experience with my Stinger the TPMS sensors suck. I use a real race car quality tire pressure gauge and cold tire temps have never matched pressures per the gauge....generally a lb or two off the hand held gauge I use. Yes I read the tire pressure gauge on the dash while the tires are still cold after driving a mile or so at slow speed. Is it just my car or are there similar experiences our there?

^^^I have a cheapo handheld pressure gauge that I got at O'Reilly's which consistently reads 4-5 psi over the Stinger's psi readout. The professional grade pressure gauge at the tire shop falls somewhere in between. So, yes, in my car the readout is c. 2 psi below a good quality tire gauge. It's hardly a deal breaker. What is annoying is when the entire TPMS system goes down just because one sensor isn't sending. (And, combined with that, this last time, I had a connection that must have worked loose: at least by grabbing every connector that I could see - under the glovebox - and squeezing them together, the TPMS came back to life.)

I had this issue and the solution was to get the tire PSI up above 37 psi. Once you do and drive around a bit the TPMS warning will go away. Then you can reduce to your desired pressure. For whatever reason, once the low pressure warning is tripped it won't go away until the pressure goes above 37 psi (at least that was my experience).

Hope that helps.
Exactly!! Also It may be the battery in TPMS and or if you installed the spare, I dont believe the spare has the TPMS device because its only temporary. A tire shop can perform a diag with their tool the see if the TPMS responds, if not then the TPMS is dead and cant communicate with the car computer.
