Thanks Wash I had no idea what the e85 mix needed to be. Yesterday I did as you said here and switched to Map 5 for first time. ... crazy boost now.

I easily walked an old guy in a new g70 3.3t.He looked over at me at a stoplight and gave me a half grin like he had something special. Didn’t think he was going to really try me but he took off at the light so I did the same. He pulled a half car length because I spun in first but easily passed him by 3rd gear and gave him the same grin back as I waved goodbye. Needless to say his grin was gone...

Your mods list doesn't have any ecu/tuning mods listed, but IIRC, you do have some? G70's like a cousin to our car - you should have clued him in so he can help rack up the kills against other people. I hope I stay competitive (and safe) when I get older - of course, you may think of me as an "old guy now" - pushing 50...

Sadly, it's working against you. It means they already added 15% ethanol to get to the listed octane. Which means, you can only add another 15% or so E85 (total), because once you get past E30, the stock fuel pump can't keep up - you need MORE fuel for the same amount of power with E85.

Really good gas is 93 E0, meaning "natural" 93 octane, no E85. 93 E10 means you got 0.9 gallons gas with maybe 91-92 octane, and 0.1 gallons ethanol to get you up to 93. 93 E30, for example, would mean something like 0.7 gallons 89 or 90 "natural" octane + 0.3 gallons ethanol to get to 93. At E30, you can't mix anymore - you're already at flow limit of our system, unless going CPI from BMS, which can handle up to E50 and maybe above.

Find an ethanol calculator (just google e85 calculator) to get exact numbers - I'm just giving you some idea of what it means. Note: E85 is the "normal" maximum mix, so 85% ethanol, 15% gas. octane like 100-103 or something. However, they have fine print, saying it could be anywhere from E51 to E85 depending on time of year (E85 can be hard to start in the cold), how much ethanol they had on hand, etc.. I think my station guarantees at least E71+.

gotta love the measuring contest here. we're all waiting for a stock for stock race over on our forums and guess what....if we get walked by a stinger then great! Were cousin cars and hope that both of them succeed and it drives everyone away from douchey bmw's and audis. No one cares who wins (at least in our forums), were just interested in a real side by side. Of course the facts say that the G70 should be maybe .1 second quicker but who cares! Theyre both great cars

alright, alright Ive got huge respect for the cars they build and their capabilities....just saying the brands and those loyal to them have a stereotype. doucheyness is a little harsh as there are plenty of nice people in BMWs and plenty of shitty people in....other cars

It’s all jokes on my end...if I wasn’t driving a stinger the g70 would have been my next choice. I’d like to see some more videos of stock stingers vs g70s.
