1 of the fitting that came with the kit is smaller than the stock one, just got a smaller clamp the other one just below that one was also alittle lose

In theory yes but not enough to make a difference. In this situation the turbo has a greater affect on the air temp coming in then would make a difference attempting to pull cooler air.

Makes sense. So spend the money on an additional/larger intercooler? Or perhaps fans to force more air thru it?

K n Cai not worth the money for the horse power gain. Weight for drop in kn. Exhaust well worth the money for sound and hp gain. Only thing cai does is make things louder. So if your into noise that’s cool. Stock stinger gt in Florida ran 12.74 quarter mile with launch control. I think kia was alittle off with there hp rating.

Be honest I love the sound and the way it makes that engine bay look. I know HP gains aren't much but if you tune the car later on an intake is a must. So by putting it on now your good to go for the future.

There was actually an independent (no K&N affiliation) test conducted by someone. They posted the video with dyno results somewhere on here.

They noted a 4hp gain over stock intake with the K&N.

Yes guys the sound is awesome. But remember just because it’s loud doesn’t mean it fast. Borla cat back sounds great and actually adds about 20hp

Where do you see info on hp gains for the borla exhaust. I couldn't find it anywhere on the borla page.
