What isn't true? That black materials absorb heat? This has been tested and proven to be not true over and over again in regards to intercoolers.

nice opinion but i disagree, i have their catch can and intercooler and both are top notch.Too bad mishimoto makes garbage products. I had their oil cooler lines blow on my 370z doing 130 down a back straight. They use cheap materials and have awful couplers.
It's not an opinion when I have evidence of a part failing.nice opinion but i disagree, i have their catch can and intercooler and both are top notch.
So by your standard, companies cannot have any faulty parts or defects? Just because you had an issue doesn't mean the entire company is shit, that's retarded. It's not an opinion when I have evidence of a part failing.
I've also had friends blow mishimoto radiator caps and burn them for no good reason. So by your standard, companies cannot have any faulty parts or defects? Just because you had an issue doesn't mean the entire company is shit, that's retarded.

mythbusters proved this hahaIn regards to intercooler, its makes no difference.
Any black material will absorb radiant heat. In the Sun the Stinger’s intercooler is exposed. There are some cars where the intercooler is not exposed. The Stinger is not one of those cars.In regards to intercooler, its makes no difference.
Why are they hanging around a hot radiator cap?I've also had friends blow mishimoto radiator caps and burn them for no good reason.
And no, when it comes to oil and radiator caps there is no room for error.
Good luck hope your lines don't blow when you are running it hard.
When you build 1000 race cars sometimes you get under a hot hoodWhy are they hanging around a hot radiator cap?

You are ALWAYS better with an unpainted intercooler for the Stinger on a Sunny day.
Can I ask why you skipped the charge pipe?Well BMS intercooler is on back order. I bought UP FMIC without the upgraded charge pipe.
Have you noticed any difference over the oem?I just want to keep my engine bay stock as possible when it comes to smog time and dealership visits. Plus the stock charge pipe is pretty stable.
