I’ve had my JB4 for a while now just installing it what a difference it makes I’m only a little concerned that I am not really able to read the logs do you know if I am running in a safe range love how fast it is but I really don’t want to hurt my car

Yea this definitely help me understand a load more on it and seeing that it looks like the logs will highlight things that are out of spec? The ones I had took a look at were just straight white sheet

No, the color coding in that post was my addition. I recommend freezing the header row, then scrolling through watching the values change as rpm rises. Some, like base timing advance (ign_1) are easier to view as trendlines which is why people like the line charts, but most you can just look at the outright values (cylinder-level timing pulls in ign_2 through ign_6, etc).
