There are probably a 100 different ways to keep the button pressed, but a little piece of tape will solve it immediately. The end result is the same, except you only spent 5 seconds of your day.
You could splice 4 wires and pay $67....or just us a little piece of black tape in 15 minutes.Wouldn't this be a better way to deal with this?

Looks like a nice solution, other than having to spice into the existing harness. If someone comes up with a combination module that uses a plug-and-play connection method that will probably be a popular item.Wouldn't this be a better way to deal with this?

Agree, those are super thin/delicate wires, even when using wire quick splices.Looks like a nice solution, other than having to spice into the existing harness. If someone comes up with a combination module that uses a plug-and-play connection method that will probably be a popular item.
Then go into sport and turn off traction control, that’s mine lol."Research has shown" that aging drivers who go through a startup routine (aka a checklist) have a reduced incidence of dementia. So, I just push the Start button, then the very next thing I do is turn off ISG (Idle Stop and Go). Is that so hard to remember?
It makes a difference in the standardized tests they use to establish fuel economy ratings. That's all the matters, and the only reason the feature is on the car (and active on start up) in the first place. And the fuel saving argument for it with other brands is just rubbish. IMHO.
Yes but as we all don't drive in laboratoriesIt makes a difference in the standardized tests they use to establish fuel economy ratings. That's all the matters, and the only reason the feature is on the car (and active on start up) in the first place.![]()
Yeah in Australia we don't have a manual mode you can change manually with the paddles but we don't have the conventional option where you push the shifter left or right to go into "manual Model". So the paddle shift will change down, butDo what I do drive in manual mode, hate the auto trans, 7th gear at 45mph? Car sounds like shit auto shifting non stop.
Would be great if it would remember “Sport” mode. I like using the Drone app to turn on heated/cool seats and heated steering wheel, because I’ll never remember to turn them on just before turning of the car. That sounds like a great little module though.Aftermarket module is available in Korea with memory function so it remembers last user setting even after iginition key cycle.
It's simple wiring work, but the center console cover trim needs to be removed.
I found this on one of the Stinger forum in Korea and I am planning to do it when it gets warmer.

the reason they don't remember sport mode is most likely to protect the car for cold start. Many of the cars I have with dynamic engine mapping do this. I've never seen one allow you to start in sport and with Subaru, and Audi, it wont allow you to switch to sport until the engine has warmed up properly. It's actually a good idea.Would be great if it would remember “Sport” mode. Ohh very interesting! Makes sense, thanks for the infothe reason they don't remember sport mode is most likely to protect the car for cold start. What a interesting and logical reasoning for the reversal to non-sport mode after engine shut off.... but why don't they remember i don't want the idle-stop-go thing at start up... so annoying.the reason they don't remember sport mode is most likely to protect the car for cold start.
