Worked like a charm! I have to admit at first I was skeptical that the Philips head would work, but it was perfect. Straight through the plastic funnel and the head engaged the little gear thing without a hitch. Very easy to turn and didn't strip the gear at all. Each revolution produced the tiniest change in the lens angle so just be patient and you will eventually achieve the desired height. Adjusted both lights in less than 2 minutes. Went for a test drive, came back, made minor adjustment in less than a minute. [QUOTE
I have a GT2. Hole is there. The only reason it should take any time really is deciding if it's too high or too low compared to the other and the indecision going on in ones mind.
are you sure the adjustment portion is being engaged with the screw driver? it is pretty deep. there should be marking next to the hole with arrows showing which way for up/down

that should work. make sure that you put a fair amount of down pressure as you turn slooowly and deliberately, while you watch your headlights on the wall: the progress up or down is a lot of twisting of the no. 2 screwdriver to get a little movement of the light patch.

you need the correct size screwdriver (i forget what it is, search through the posts) ... you insert it and kinda wiggle it around a bit until you feel it slot in the teeth, then you can adjust ...

The hole approach is useless on mine. Can't feel the #2 catch any gear, just feels like I'm screwing into the sidewall. Gonna have to try the bolt behind the light.
I used the #2 Phillips screwdriver and it worked great. It took less than a minute to make the adjustment. I also shined a flashlight on the gear that turns while I was turning the screwdriver to make sure it was actually turning. It turns slowly compared to the screwdriver but it works. Now I can see down the road and nobody flashed their high beams at me.
The hole is meant for a special tool similar to torx but meant to engage the gears. IIRC I found one that worked when I needed to adjust my Sorento headlights.
that would explain why your not reaching the adjustment teeth way down there. the first #2 I tried was too thick as well. the one I have that worked is a better quality tool with a thinner shaft that easily fits down that hole with room to spare. there are plenty of options in hardware or even auto parts stores. the one I bought that works I picked up at O'Reilly. couldn't tell you a brand name it is coming up on four years ago.
