MSRP=$50,100The total price of the car before taxes, fees, or down payment.
They only offer 1 package add.46k seems high for a GT1. How many extras are added?
My MSRP was $52,410, paying $649 monthly (taxes built in), paid $889 up front for first month + DMV fees, $0 down, 12k.Here are my numbers.
Msrp: $52,850
Sale price: $50,066
Rebate: -$7000 = $43,066
36 month lease for $598,83 with $4433 out of pocket covering taxes, fees and first month payment. $0 down payment. 12k miles.
Hey Barry, I thought in NY taxes are charged up front. I don’t know the law or standard practice for taxes. I’m actually stopping by Yonkers Kia tomorrow to check a micro blue GT. I only wish they had 19s on them. How do you feel the 18s look on your car?My MSRP was $52,410, paying $649 monthly (taxes built in), paid $889 up front for first month + DMV fees, $0 down, 12k.
The blue GT is sweet, it was in the showroom last night along with a gorgeous yellow GT (drool). They have 20 Stingers in inventory, pretty much all flavors and colors are present. Seeing as that's where I got my GT2 from I'm thinking the least they can do is match my deal, right? Taxes can be paid upfront or worked into the lease here in NY, as to the 18's they're not a big issue to me, at least until I figure out where the heck I can drive 167 around here, heh.Hey Barry, I thought in NY taxes are charged up front. Oh ok, that’s good to know, I’d prefer to keep upfront money to a minimal. As for the wheels, I just think the 19s look better. I doubt I’d drive over 130 either way. Those tickets would be very costly and dangerous! Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!The blue GT is sweet, it was in the showroom last night along with a gorgeous yellow GT (drool). Don't bother looking at a blue one - I got itHey Barry, I thought in NY taxes are charged up front. I don’t know the law or standard practice for taxes. You got a GT2, he was looking at a GT.Don't bother looking at a blue one - I got it![]()
Looking at the base GT and actually white silver, and red are my top choices but I’m open to others (blue). I hear they look beautiful in person. I see they have a white and a red GT1, but I really want to keep the price in the base GT range.Don't bother looking at a blue one - I got it![]()
One of the reasons I lease is driving out of the dealership with a $52,000+ car having left only $890 there is a really good feeling for sure.Oh ok, that’s good to know, I’d prefer to keep upfront money to a minimal.
Don't be shy, tell them what you want and they'll get it for you, with 564 Stingers available in the tri-State area they won't have to look far to satisfy your desires. Remember, you're gonna be walking out to it for at least the next 3 years, I'm sure you want to see exactly what you want rather than settle for second best. I love my red GT2 sure but that yellow GT on the floor, oh my...then again my second car was a yellow/black '76 Vette, so I might be having flashbacks of my youth, ya know?Looking at the base GT and actually white silver, and red are my top choices but I’m open to others (blue). First, welcome to the forum and hopefully also to the Stinger "HIVE"just signed up on the forum -
I went and drove one of these this weekend (super impressed). GT2 Ceramic Silver/Red Napa interior loaded up. First dealer came in at $700/mo on a zero down (NEVER, EVER put money down on a lease) 3year/12k miles lease. Went to another dealer in town and all they had on their lot in the GT2 was red on black (meh!). They offered that car to me for $600/mo same terms. I'm stuck on the ceramic/red combo so they found one and have to work out a dealer trade but it looks promising. I'm currently at $630/mo but will stick to my gun at $615/mo on a zero down (first payment due at signing) if they want to sell it. I should get the call on Monday if the other dealer is willing to trade them or not. I thought $615 was amazing for this car.
I've looked at the A7, S5, even a 2015 AMG C45. All great cars but the Stinger offers more. Someone said you could find other "luxury" cars for cheaper and I looked but didn't find what they found. Non of these options were under 700/mo with money down. So, I'm finally over the badge pride and am thinking the Kia is solid deal when looking for four doors, nice fit and finish, AWD, over 325 hp, under 75k.
PS - I leased an Optima 6 years ago, returned it 3 years ago, and said I'd never own a KIA again. The car sucked and Kia screwed the hell out of me on the disposition. I'm hoping this time around they are a little more reasonable or I'll have to go back to the Germans.
I'm about to wrap up my first lease, and I'm definitely a fan now. If the return process goes smoothly and I don't end up owning any wear charges, I'll definitely lease again. As for how much I'd pay, I'm prepared to go up to 649 monthly for a loaded GT. I can't imagine a 3yr/15k/0 down lease being any higher than that.
