How much are you willing to pay? (lease)

Ziggy, it’s looks like you keep forgetting to add your comments with the attached Replies... FYI- You can type your comments directly under the “QUOTE” when you reply.
I see this all over the forum and I just don't have enough time to fix it anymore. We can always direct members to our "Quoting 101" thread. :p

The blue GT is sweet, it was in the showroom last night along with a gorgeous yellow GT (drool). They have 20 Stingers in inventory, pretty much all flavors and colors are present. Seeing as that's where I got my GT2 from I'm thinking the least they can do is match my deal, right? Taxes can be paid upfront or worked into the lease here in NY, as to the 18's they're not a big issue to me, at least until I figure out where the heck I can drive 167 around here, heh.
Hey Barry! Why did you go with the blue and not the yellow that you seemed to love? Was it more expensive?

I leased a red GT2 just before the yellow GT made an appearance.

I got my white 2.0 Premium at invoice pricing cause of my govt purchase program. Minus the rebate and the $2200 I put down which included first month, taxes and tag/fees im only paying $425 and that includes $2000 they rolled over from my Kia Niro lease they bought out. Otherwise I would have been under $370/month. great deal.

I pulled the trigger on a GT2 last night. Here are the details: 2k due at signing, traded 09 Toyota Camry (KBB value 2500), 12k miles/year, 27k residual value after 3 years. $392 per month. I have been looking at this car since February and I couldn't find another dealer who could even get close to this deal. Going to pick it up tonight, they had to do the final clean up and I wanted to clean out my trade.

That seems like a pretty low payment considering it's a GT 2 and you only gave 2k down .

I wanted a base GT, AWD, driewise package and they couldn't find one other than in yellow and I didn't want yellow. They had two GT2s, one in blue and the other in red. They told me to pick from one of those, so I did.

Don't forget the $2500 trade-in, even with that it seems a really good deal although I'm not sure if it's an AWD.

Even with 4500 down it still seems way too low. Even at invoice for the car minus rebates no one I've seen on these boards is paying less than 550 with the same amount of money down.

If accurate it's the best deal I've seen hands down, although the $2200 for AWD would skew it somewhat. I understand leasing, downpayments, residual values, money factors, etc, to me the true cost of a lease is the amount of $ you pay out for the duration of the lease. In my case I'm paying $24,253 for my 3 year 12,000 mile lease of an AWD GT2 inclusive (taxes, downpay and monthly lease charges), as far as I can discern it was a good deal at the time, January, not sure it would be so now.

The car is AWD, starting MSRP $52,300, I believe final MSRP was $49, 113 or that's what is listed on the website. They doubled what KBB had listed for the value of my trade to 5k. I don't understand how they got the numbers to work but glad they did. I live in WI and there hasn't been any buzz here surrounding the stinger. Persistence pays off?

It's the best deal I'v seen so far I'd love to see how they worked it out....Any way you could post the lease paper work? It would be super helpful for the one (like me) who haven't pulled the trigger.

I live in MN, and there's zero Stinger hype here either. You can lease a GT2 with zero down for ~$599/mo. I leased a GT1 for $229 (tax, registration, and 1st pmt included) with $10500 in trade credit. I'm going to do a buyout as soon as I get the title.

Brewcrewmike’s deal sounds in the realm of reality. Even at $3k off MSRP they had room to give him more for his trade if they really wanted the car gone as a few people have managed to get close to $5k off a GT2. It’s always hard to say as usually there are other factors complicating the deals (dealer adds, warranties, trades, different incentive amounts, etc). Add in his $2k down, ~$6500 rebate, and the $5k trade and you’re at $16500 off MSRP for the capital cost. Origination fee of $650 and you’re at $36,500 total with a residual of $27,000... those are going to be pretty low payments (let’s say <$300) before state taxes are figured in. $392 doesn’t sound crazy.

The dealer probably just wanted to move the car.

It is crazy because even at those figures he's still getting it for more than what I got my Premium for and he's paying less than me.

State taxes? Your premium has a lower residual as well (~$20-21k).

Looks like they discounted the car $5,643. I added maintenance and lease protections at the dealership. Monthly payment is $435. I'll post a picture of the car shortly. Already turning heads! The lease calculation sheet is attached. Maybe someone can figure out what they did. My first lease.

Brewcrewmike you rock!!! this is so helpful, thanks. What a deal! I'm thinking of waiting until summer / fall and see what falls off the tree deal. I also would like to see the Atlantica, love the 380 camera and exterior color but not crazy about the all brown interior or the 19inch tire, I would rather have the 18 for a smoother ride. I wonder how much US dealers are making on the GT2 (called the limited) in canada (with the 380 cam) the price is about $50000 that's less than 40000 in US dollars.
